This is a really badly set up game room. There used to be a better one in bangkok that shut down so we went with this one and regretted it in the first 2 mins. Having played the escape game in a number of countries, I can assure you this can not be called a game room at all. There is absolutely no story to the room. Its random and just one lock after another with no thought given to the puzzles. For some reason its 45 mins which makes no sense given the 20 locks you need to open. At the end you get a badly taken photo uploaded onto their FB page and nothing else (Other companies will email you the photo at the least, others give you some other take away like a photo magnet of your team etc.)Really disappointing. Would not recommend.
Having completed numerous escape experiences in UK, Dubai and other places in the world, this was not an enjoyable experience in comparison. There was no background provided and the clues were vague. The latter clues were not drawn correctly and didn’t match the answers properly so it made it frustrating. Even the staff could not explain what matched and only knew the answer by rote.
If you’ve never tried Escape Room before. This is a good one for you and your friends/sweet heart. It’s located in the middle of Bangkok that you will be experience theme puzzles, quite confuse and less sense. However, the environment and its atmosphere is quite well.
Probably one of the least enjoyable escape rooms I’ve done. So many staff were working while we were there and yet it felt as though nobody was actually watching. The staff enter the room to give you (max 2) hints, interrupting the flow of the game. The puzzles aren’t very inspired, the coolest part of the room we did (the Egypt themed one) required more than 2 people for a certain puzzle and we weren’t told of this until we were up to said puzzle. I speak English and my friend that I went with speaks Thai, and we both agreed that the written instructions for puzzles that were given in the room were unclear and almost nonsensical. The puzzles involving UV were probably the weakest, because the UV writing is so worn that we needed to ask for hints despite it being an extremely simple puzzle.My friend was a first-timer and even for a complete rookie she said she didn’t really enjoy it at all. I’ve done 20+ rooms and work at an escape room and found it to be probably the most frustrating and boring escape room I’ve been to. Tl;dr: uninterested staff, overpriced, not maintained, bland – there are many many better rooms elsewhere.
Among all escape rooms we did , this one is a bit disappointing because very strict . Absolutely no help is provided during the game so if you get stucked at one stage , it is for ever .. up to the end … no fun for a family .
We went to Escape Room Bangkok and it was a very nice and fun experience. We wanted to do a specific room but the staff after realizing we were a big group (7 people), recommended us to do the Crime Scene Room. It was soooo exciting! The room was super nice and you could feel fully immersed in the scene. It was the most difficult room as it has many puzzles and tricky clues but we managed to get out before the time was up. This is the second room I play here and definitely want to come back and do the rest! It’s a very fun activity to do with friends! The Crime Scene and the Room 13 games are the “scariest” ones. So if you get scared easily, better avoid them. You get a free water bottle after your game and a photo of your group taken. Try it!
The staff were all fabulous. We brought our 2 year old and he was terrified of the room but the staff did so much to try to make him happy and comfortable. We did two rooms tonight and both were well done, flowed well, and good themed. Fun thing to do with the family!
Simply rubbish, also very expensive. Don’t waste your time going. Plenty of better things to do in Bkk.
This is a game in the MBK mall. It is a fabulous adventure that needs intelligence and attention. The staff were all nice. There are several gases, but I recommend it to you prison break and lost Symbol. This game is not suitable for young children. Also ,itis too expensive.
Staff is very polite and helpful but the game was not as good as i expected. On the other hand i think it is overpriced (30 usd/person). You are trying to solve 6-7 puzzles in 5-6 sq2 room.
