Railay Dive Center did a fabulous job of making our first family dive experience a great one. The instructor was patient, helpful, and flexible to our needs. The company accommodated out vegan diet, two adults, and 10 and 8 year old children. There was an emphasis on safety and environmental stewardship as well as a fun a laid back atmosphere! Thank you everyone!
We had two really nice dives with knowledgeable Dive Masters. The visability was pretty good for the area; however, it is hit or miss so you shoudl definitely check the water clarity before booking your dive.
Railay Dive Center are one of the best I’ve ever met. I went for two dives and it was amazing and well organized. The longtail boat was very good as well. The lunch prepared homemade was so delicious… I strongly recommend the guys, have a lot of experience, knowledge and knows the region for sure.
We had two days diving very nicely organised for our family, nice dives with some experiences such as entering caves. Emile the master diver was top. Great days!

Sami and Belle make a great team and took great care of us when we went diving. They’re very friendly, and Belle’s home cooked food was the icing on the cake! Would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to go diving in Railay.
We had hoped to go to Phi Phi islands with Railay Dive center but due to the weather we had to do a local dive. The communication with RDC was very good and they were very accommodating with planning our dive day. There were a few issues and some are out of their control (such as weather of course) and some things they should consider improving. Dive boat – we asked for speedboat instead of longboat as we had someone doing a discover scuba. The speedboat was too small for the number of people on board. The tanks and equipment took up the whole floor space so the trip was not comfortable and getting in and out of equipment was a bit chaotic. It is not a dive boat so exiting the boat was also difficult. They did not have oxygen on board which was very concerning to me – that is standard practice. The dives were terrible – 5-10 foot visibility and nothing to see. Typically when conditions aren’t great, someone jumps in and looks around and they consult or figure out other options. That wasn’t the case. Our DSD friend did not have a good experience which was a bummer. I am an instructor and it was the worst dive I have ever done in my career. The staff is really nice and hard working. I appreciated that we got back some $$ because we didn’t go to Phi Phi islands. The visibility is out of their control but they should have looked for better spots. I wouldn’t dive in this area again – hold out for Phi Phi or don’t bother.
We went to snorkling with these guys. The day was amazing. Took a original Thai boat and travelled for a while to near islands. We snorkled in 3 different places and there was allways a staff checking on us. The guys where there really for us and made sure that we were safe. We enjoyed there with our son a lot. The owner is Finnish so you can rely that everything works as agreed and on time. On the boat we had water, fruits and lunch. Experience was something that we all remember all of our lifes. Find the Dive centre from Railey ot go to internet to get their number and agree snorkling or diving session with them. Thanks to the staff❤️. Pääsimme päiväksi heidän kanssaa snorklaamaan. Päivä oli unohtumaton ja kaverit piti meistä todella hyvää huolta. Turvallisuudesta huolehdittiin ja paikallinen henkilökunta tarkisti kokoajan että meillä oli kaikki ok. Veneellä oli vettä ja hedelmiä ja saimme myös lounasta joka oli todella hyvää. Autenttinen reissu Thai veneen matkassa jää meille pysyvästi mieleen. We have just returned from our amazing holiday in Railay beach. We booked 2 days with Railay dive centre and had 2x private dive instructors and 1x snorkelling guide for our group of 10. Our children (aged 16 and 13) completed their PADI Open water Level 1 course with Hakan, my husband did a fun dive (as he is already a qualified diver) and me and my daughter snorkelled. Hakan was and incredible teacher/ instructor to our children with their safety being the utmost priority. He ensured at all times that they understood and know exactly what to do. The other dive instructor and snorkelling guide were amazing too. Their equipment was clean, in a good condition and certainly safe to use. They took safety of all very seriously. All in all we had an amazing experience! All were incredibly professional and knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed our 2 days with them and would highly recommend anyone else to use them.
RAILAY DIVE CENTER IS the BEST plan if you want to dive in Krabi. They have many options in order to what you need. My friend is advance but for me it was my first time to dive in the sea. I has been the TRY only in swimming pool in Madrid, and usually I do snorkel in Valencia, and It was all my short experience in dive. I contacted with Sami by mail before and he gave me many valuable information and confidence. They are the only Diving Club in Railay. The rest of companies are in Ao Nang.But isn’t any problem because It”s very easy and take a short time go from Ao Nang to RAILAY. And their prices are the same than the others. I needed a Spanish instructor because my English is so so, It was my first time and diving isn’t a game, althought is funny It take risks. Fortunally in RAILAY DIVE CENTER works the BEST SPANISH INSTRUCTOR around the world!!!! His name is Javi and he’s from Cáceres. We reviewed the little that I knew and he slowly explained to me how the equipment worked and how to solve any incident that would happen underwater, such as emptying the goggles, or picking up the regulator, or ear decompression.When I was ready and equipped we went to the water and he didn’t let me go the entire time.My feeling was of being safe and protected on the two dives we did.We booked the excursion to local islands.I recommend Javi and the diving club 100%. Our incredible day trip to Phi Phi Island was an unforgettable experience for our whole family! The sheer number of vibrant fish and fascinating sea creatures was a thrill for both diving and snorkeling, and we felt incredibly lucky to spot majestic turtles swimming alongside us! Our knowledgeable guide, Ricky, was an absolute gem, sharing insightful information about the marine life and providing valuable tips to enhance our experience. We were particularly impressed by the eco-friendly approach to food packaging, which not only reduced waste but also added a touch of authenticity to our island adventure. The delicious and nutritious meals, served in reusable containers, were a testament to the tour operators’ commitment to preserving the beauty of Phi Phi Island for future generations.
