Pros:+Many opportunities to take pics when get lost. + fun competing in teams. Cons:- little bit Run down. Some figures are damaged. – Scary at times (for kids) bec the figures at the corner.Overall, still worth visiting. Especially if you have relatively young (& competitve) kids.
It took quite a bit of navigation to finally make out of the maze. Initially we thought it would b a simple task but we were so wrong. The family had to come together to discuss n remember the previous ways that were dead ends. A truly fun activity for the family. Alot of perseverance is needed to make out of the maze is definitely! Especially for young families
Pete Maze is truly a good family bonding activity for our family of 4. We divided ourselves into 2 groups and challenged to get to the exit first. If the weather is cooling, it will be perfect.
Initially I thought it is going to be boring and was reluctant to go. I went because of my 9year old son.I am glad that I went with him. We really enjoyed it. I did not bring my phone with me nor taking pictures of the map at the reception (I heard it is useless). We just went in and we had fun looking for the exit. I let him lead the way 🙂 We got stuck at the 3 bridges for a good half an hour! Which I think is the most difficult part of the maze.Tip: stand on the bridge and plan your route. We managed to get out through and emergency exit (with a white colour steel chair blocking the way). If you can get through the white chair, you are pretty close to the exit!Good luck and enjoy the walk 🙂
Not exactly excited about this place as the entrance fee for tourist is quite high 150 baht and inside nothing much for photography unless having a drone for bird eyes view.Outside the maze seem to have more fun and memories instead.
In our hectic everyday life where we dont have time with family together Pete’s maze is a perfect place to enjoy with your family i felt a teenager myself when we visited automaticlly turned in a game of trying to get out from the maze and getting a chance to take pictures with diffrent props and dunny statues it took us over 3 hours to comlete and find the exit but with lots of fun with the family but it was too hot so try to go in mornings
I would definitely recommend this place. We had a great hour navigating ourselves around the maze. It was challenging enough for the whole family to get involved (we have a four year old, and I don’t think he would have coped without us) The hedges are well kept and the prices were still low. I don’t know why this hasn’t been rated higher on things to do in Khao Yai!
We enjoyed getting lost in the maze, which is well set out and kept with plenty to see while going around including the large Buddha next door. Young kids would like this a lot so a good spot for families and reasonably priced with nice ice creams once you escape the maze
We spent her a fun hour and a half with two little kids. The place is clean and well kept, and it’s actually quite tough finding your way out.
Good for families with kids. Or adults like us with nothing else to do. Entrance fee of THB150 per pax applies. It’s of a decent size and more difficult than I expected to clear out, starting at the Giraffes, exiting at the distorted looking Mickey & Minnie. Took us more than 30 mins, well maybe less if we spent less time photo-taking.At every dead end there was something to take a photo of or with. Some scary, some cute, some duh.
