  1. I did the day and a half tour and absolutely loved every minute. It truly was one of my favorite experiences while I was in Thailand. If you’re a nature lover like me, you definitely need to check this out. Even if you don’t see some of the more exciting things like elephants, there still is an abundance of beautiful wildlife to experience and see. The guides are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The tour is well organized and includes walking and time in the truck as well. Good food and a fun adventure. Highly recommend if you’re going to Khao Yai!

  2. A really great tour with both a guide (Mr Lek) and driver who really went the extra mile to show us the amazing wildlife to be found in the park. Mr Lek was really passionate, knowledgeable and patient. He spent his lunchtime looking for creatures rather than relaxing. He could answer any questions posed. We saw gibbons twice, various lizards and birds, monkeys, scorpions, porcupines, deer and a pit viper snake. Unfortunately no elephants. Moreover his driver was helpful and she was also a very good and safe driver (not our general experience of Thai drivers). Communication with Greenleaf was excellent throughout. Mr Lek’s English was very good, his driver also seemed quite capable.

  3. We had a fabulous private tour with Mr Nine. He was excellent at explaining to us about all the different animals, insects, birds, vegetation that we saw and how they all support each other. He spent time looking and tracking animals. We saw baboons, macaque monkeys, whip snake, great horn bill, pit viper, monitor lizard and barking deer. We visited the Haew au wat waterfall and swam in the local spring water. We had a bit of time before the bats emerged so Mr Nine took us to a beautiful temple. The highlight of the day was going to the bat cave and watching the bats fly out as the sun set. We loved Mr Nine’s knowledge and enthusiasm and would highly recommend Greenleaf tours.

How to to Pakchong from Ayuthaya?By train ,you can check for train 135 and 71. Because of Thai trainsalways delay. Then we would highly recommend to catch train 135 insteadof 71.In case that train 135 had delays for an hour. Then you do still havetime to take some lunch and prepare your stuffs for the half day trip. But if you come with train 71. And this train was delay for 30 minutesthen everything have to be very rush. You may not have much time forlunch.Train time table for Ayuthya to PakchongTrain no. Then our staff will drive you to Pakchong trainstation where you can catch 7.48 pm train to Ayuthaya or Bangkok. This train number 22 could arrive in Ayuthaya about 10.30 pm and Bangkokabout 11.30 pm.The ticket cost 363 Baht for Ayuthaya and 390 Baht for Bangkok. You canbuy a ticket in advance from any train station in Thailand. All Thailandtrain station always open for 24 hours.Short Distance Train RideBecause the distance from Pakchong to Ayuthaya was less than 200 km.Then the ticket can do reserveonly one day in advance. But if your distance journey was longer than200 km then you can bookthe ticket for 2 months in advance. What can we do then?We can expand our distance by booking a ticket from “Pak Chong to DonMueng” in stead of “Pak Chong”to “Ayuthaya”. And you can still get off in Ayuthaya anyway. The ticket from Pakchong to Ayuthaya cost 363Baht/person. And it cost 384 Baht/person for Don Mueng. It was paying 21Baht more expensive but we can secure your journey 2 months in advance.Ayuthaya to PakchongIn fact you can usually buy a ticket at Ayuthaya train station beforeyou get on the train to Pakchong. But if you want to make a reservationin advance. Then you can make a reservation for “Pakchong” to “NakhonRatchasima” and get off the train in Pakchong.

  5. This was a truly spectacular experience. I and my fellow travellers were looked after from the moment we arrived. It is a family run business and everyone put a lot of passion into it. Our guide Ghann was passionate and absolutely amazing at telling us all about the wildlife. This is a very authentic experience, the lodges are clean and you have everything you need. And in the mornings and evenings we would sit at the cafe at the front and socialise and have a great time together. We even had time to do some astronomy sporting the planets with the telescope!Food was great and didn’t need to go anywhere else whilst there. Also able to wash clothes on the on site laundry. The have water collection and greenhouse and grow done of their own produce so it is also sustainable and environmentally friendly.

  6. Cannot recommend Greenleaf tours highly enough. We did both the half day and full day tours. Half day is outside the national park but included cave visits and the sight of 2 million bats leaving their roost. Full day took us into National Park where we saw elephants, gibbons, macaques, spiders, a snake, owl, water monitors, hornbills, barking deer etc etc. All the guides are very good and the trips well organised. Accommodation is a little rustic, but perfectly adequate and food is wholesome. It’s also inexpensive. A great couple of days.

  7. we had such a great Day with Tina. She is passionate and has years of experience. She is very generous and knows a lot about the park and the animals.

  8. Went on a full day tour with the company and it was great. The tour guide Ghaan was incredible and so knowledgeable, not to mention so good at spotting wild life. The tour included a delicious lunch, water and snacks throughout the day. Couldn’t be more pleased. 😊

  9. We did the 1 day tour in Khao Yai and the half day tour before. It was a great opportunity to see different animals and look at wonderful sceneries. Everything was very well organized and the guides are very professional. The food at the guesthouse is also delicious and we had a wonderful time. We are also very thankful for all the information provided before our stay about transportation and the transfer from the railway station.

  10. We found this tour online as we were staying near by and wanted a tour of the national park. Communication was good prior to booking. The tour collected us from our accommodation at 8.30am in a jeep, we then headed into the national park, our group compromised ourselves and two other couples. We first stopped at a view point, then spotted animals on the way to the visitor centre were we could take a quick look at the museum or grab a coffee, next was the jungle hike followed by a delicious lunch at the park restaurant (included), we then did more animal spotting on the way to and from the waterfall (the steepest steps I’ve ever encountered!). The tour guide Nick was fantastic, great at spotting animals and taking pictures with all our phones (much better than anything we could manage!). We saw all sorts of animals including two types of gibbons, hornbills, monitor lizard, spiders, snakes, macaques, deer, porcupine and finally on our way out of the park we were lucky enough to see a elephant cross the road! All in all a fantastic day!
