I’ve been there with my wife and I’ve met the manager of the center. He is lovely, very friendly and well experienced. If you are looking for a diving center, in a beautiful spot, with a great and nice instructor, this centre is the right one. I recommend!
I was promised a one on one dive with an instructor, where I had to arrive at 10.30 for registration and we would enter the water at 11. I was told the area was beautiful for diving. When I arrived at 10.30, I was told other people were joining and had to wait until 12.30 to finally enter the water. We started with the whole group but after 20 minutes we had to go back because the main instructor could not communicate with my buddy and the other divers had no clue to dive. There was horrible visibility under the water and while I have my open water we did not go lower than 2 meters. We were diving directly (2meters) below people who were snorkeling near the beach.Nice people but my expectations were totally not met and therefore totally not worth 1500bath.
If you consider diving in the Andeman Sea and have a bit of spare money do not waste it on the dive trips with 20+ divers on a big boat but rather spend it with Tommy. He will organise small group dive trips with a little exclusive touch to dive sites less visited. Some of them are not accessible for big groups or are simply to far away from Phuket. So it is a good idea to also spend some days on a boat and head out to a few gems in the open sea. You will not regret Hin Daen and Hin Muang and sure not the amazing Koh Haa atoll – a real and untouched beach by humans. Tommy takes well care of its customers with a real personal touch. The equipment is in very good condition and well maintained. Air always good and tasteless. The guides know the dive sites by heart so there is no surprise – apart from the underwater life of course. So watch out for the unexpected encounter.
I have got my AOWD at Tommy’s. I really like it, Medric(my instructor) gave me all needed information and many more advices from his diving experience. And he have couple really interesting and fun custom activities to educate about underwater)There was 2 beach dives and 3 boat dives. Beach dives was from house reef in Ao Sane beach. Nice reef, but not so different from other house reef, that I saw. Boat dives was much more interesting. We visit 4 different wrecks in 3 dives and see many different underwater creatures. And the boat was nice yacht with food included and barbecue on the way home)I rent only 1&2 stages and dive PC, all works fine.Prices was ok, a little cheaper, than in other PADI divecenters around. There were couple non-PADI divecenters, but i didn’t check those prices.Transfer to/from Rawai to yacht was included, and guys drove me to/from beach to my hotel (it was nearby, All Season Nai Harn); Tommy to and Medric from, on their motorbikes I got my temp card by email after about 10 daysAll in all – great experience, if i can – i will dive with this divecenter again)
Simply cool! I did the Open Water Diver with Tommy himself and I can only warmly recommend him and his diving school. Everything was well planned and very professional. Tommy has instructors for different languages. This is especially good because you really understand everything from the beginning on. The diving was really cool from the first dive till the last. We did 6 dives together and everything was there from shipwrecks to diving in pouring rain. I will definitely come again!

Tommys Dive Center is – as the name has it – lead by Tommy, a very well organised and absolutely nice guy from Germany.We had contacted Tommy prior to our arrival and have thus been able to plan our dive trips in advance. As a PADI 5 star dive Center, Tommy planed marvelous, wonderful trips for us. Taking the tides and the currents into consideration, we had a very nice drift dive as well. Thanks to Tommy, we had the same guide for all our dives. Franck, our french instructor, knew the spots by heart and was a very kind and experienced guide using time on deck for professional briefings and reviews.Visiting Racha Noi and Racha Yai and of course the beauty dive spots at Koh Phi Phi, we have seen wonderful places, marvelous corals and plenty of fish. Turtles, sharks, octopus, seamoth, lobster and tomato clown fish were among our highlights there. Yet, visiting whalesharks in Ko Ha will most certainly be the absolute highlight with Tommys Dive Center being the only Dive Center to reach this Dive Center with his speedboat. Thank you Tommy for making our stay an unforgettable journey to Phuket’s underwater sealife. We will come back for sure!
I have done my open water diving PADI with Tommy’s Dive Centre, before I finished my certification I booked my advanced open water diving with Tommy as I had such an incredible experience with Tommy and my instructor Marie. I highly recommend doing any diving course or day trip with Tommy’s dive centre, he is super helpful and Marie is a wonderful instructor!
One of the best decisions I made in Phuket was to book my dives with Tommy. My wife went snorkelling while I went on the dives and Tommy took great care of us. I had a one-to-one diving experience and both of my guides, Nigel and Franck, were highly experienced, patient and conscientious. And I was also able to get personalised feedback, which I could immediately put into practice on my subsequent dives. I really couldn’t recommend this dive centre more highly. If you do one thing when you’re in Phuket, then go with Tommy!
