Just spent the weekend on Born Free with friends. Captain Roger,Do and Woody, were so welcoming and attentive. The facilities onboard are excellent, very comfortable for lounging around in the sun and going to beautiful islands, kayaks available for your adventures on to beautiful beaches. The cabins are well maintained, with very comfortable mattress and pillows, well appointed galley were the most delicious food is prepared. This was my second trip on this beautiful yacht and I’m sure there will be many more. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend.
We have been lucky enough to spend one night and two days on this beautiful, comfortable, luxury yacht. Roger, the Captain, and his crew Dodo and Woody were just so attentive and friendly, immediately making us feel at home. The food was great and plentiful. We stayed overnight in Koh Hong off the Krabi Province. It was such a magical place to visit. We walked up the 500 or so steps to the viewpoint, kayaked to a beach, were ferried around in the motor launch. There are plenty of places on the boat for just relaxing and chatting with friends.If you have the opportunity to hire this boat then do it. I can’t praise the boat and crew enough. A great big THANK YOU.
The Born Free, based at Le Meridien resort, is your best opportunity to see how the 1% live. It is so luxurious, I found it surprising you can rent it for a day trip. The set up is loveley – an 86 foot(26m) ketch rig, it has space all over for a large group to break up into smaller groups as needed. So the kids can take the cabin downstairs, watching TV, the parents can occupy the large dining table up front on the deck, the drinkers can sit around a table in the back, and a large buffet can be laid out on the table seating 10 in the wheelhouse. Meanwhile, someone can claim the master cabin bed, while others nap in the other two cabins, all with en suite bathrooms and showers.The boat comes with all the amenities you would hope for. Snorkeling gear, two sea kayaks, three run-about speedboats, wifi by satellite, a full kitchen, etc. We packed in drinks and snacks, but they can provide all that as well as packed meals from the Le Meridien, if you’d like. They can also pull into various bays and take you ashore to knosh in local spots. We did three snorkeling stops, some fishing, some kayaking and really made a lovely day of it. And considering the cost divided by ten was more or less the same as what it would have cost for the ten of us to go on a snorkeling trip on one of the large organized dive boats, it was a real deal.Highly, HIGHLY recommended.
An amazing day! We took off on the Born Free yacht for a day of adventure, and it was simply wonderful. We visited two islands, putting the kayaks out for the second one and ended up on a secluded and very private beach where we enjoyed the sea, sand and some snorkeling (snorkeling equipment provided). The captain and his team were extremely helpful and obviously wanted us to have a good time. They often checked if we needed anything, answered all our questions and helped us take pictures. I can only recommend this once in a lifetime experience aboard such a luxurious and well-maintained boat!!
Roger was a great Captain and took good care of us throughout the day. The boat is beautiful and the itinerary is excellent with down time encore pirates to recoup from all the fun 😃
It was wonderful trip. We booked the yacht to go to Coral Island in one day. We enjoyed snorkeling and went to see the school of dolphin. Captain Roger and staff are so kind and friendly. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 living room in the cabin.

Probably the best sailing boat in Phuket and amazing Captaine (Roger) & Crew! Great boat, very conformable, wood floor, calme, clean! But the Crew and Captaine are great! They make you feel like a VIP with simplicity. Just a amazing time. A must in Phuket.
Very great hotel services by helpful staffs. Captain Roger is amazing and always takes good care of us the whole trip. Delicious meals by captain Dodo and K Wut takes us to many fun dives around beautiful islands of Phuket, Krabi. We had the great 4 days on board and highly recommend for everyone who’s looking for fun things to do in Phuket.
We had a 1 night 2 days stay on Born Free Yacht and hands down, this was the highlight of our Phuket trip. Activities: we were a party of 7 and our main aim was to do a little island hopping and enjoy water activities, and the team definitely delivered. We snorkelled around Koh Khai islands, briefly passed Koh Yao Yai, and then anchored at Phang Nga Bay for the night. Watched sunrise there the next morning before exploring the caves. We ended our afternoon with some tubing at a nearby beach. They provided all the facilities for snorkelling and tubing, and the crew took such good care of us. Service: was impeccable. Captain Roger, Wut and all the crew members made us feel so welcome and tended to all our needs. Checking in on us multiple times a day to ensure we were comfortable and having a great time. We pre-selected our meals, snacks and BYO alcohol. Being able to enjoy the delicious food while watching sunrise and sunset was such a memorable experience. It was definitely a bargain for the service and facilities you are getting. Would definitely be back when we’re next in Phuket!
