My boyfriend and I had no muay thai experience before our class at Chiang Mai Muay Thai Gym. We had a great experience learning the technique and skills. Our instructors were super friendly. It was also a great workout. After the class we saw 6 muay thai fights at Thaphae Boxing Stadium. Really fun day!
I thought I was in shape. 20 minutes in I relized I was not. I wish I had more time to take more classes. Great experience.
My husband and son took private Muay Thai lessons at this gym with Coach Bank. We cannot say enough good things about their experience. First of all, the location in the heart of Old Town was convenient, easy to find, spacious and clean. Coach Bank was friendly yet professional and accommodated both their skill levels and worked with both of them back-to-back seamlessly. After only 3 weeks of training twice a week, they both have a good working knowledge of the basics and some more advanced techniques as well. We would highly recommend this gym and Coach Bank to coach both children and adults, beginners and more experienced fighters. It’s a great workout and both my husband and son really benefitted from his training. Thank you Coach Bank and Chiang Mai Muay Thai Gym!
My wife and I had the pleasure of training at Chiangmai Muay Thai Gym for a couple of weeks in March 2022. Our trainer Boon was very positive and encouraging, and he adjusted the training perfectly to our level of fitness (or lack of it…)We were warned beforehand that the level of English was not the best, but didn’t find that a problem at all. Boon was great at explaining what he meant with simple English and demonstrations.We only did private classes. It was a very good experience, can recommend!
I had an amazing workout doing the beginners muay thai session. It was great, they didn’t go easy on us at all and I loved it. Quick and fun way to get a sweat on 🙂
I wouldn’t recommend this gym! I don’t think it’s cleaned often and has a very unprofessional owner (if you’re a woman) – I was very uncomfortable. Also you get scammed when you’re foreign – be prepared to pay high cost for amateur training.
I have been to play Muay Thai here before and I am very impressed with the teaching here. The learning is fun. The trainers are kind and not pressuring.

Wow, what an experience. The good reviews are definitely justified. I felt very welcome as a beginner. The top trainers are very respectful, friendly and active to make you learn and improve. They push you in a good way.I booked a full week (group classes) after one class because I liked it so much. Sometimes more aimed at cardio.Edit: A week later now and can fully say I had an amazing experience. I’ll be back!
It was so much fun. The teachers here are friendly, easy to understand, and provide good service. The place is airy and spacious, with a cool, comfortable atmosphere. It’s not crowded.#It’s my favorite gym.❤️?
