Lovely couple who run it, picked me up from Hotel no problem. Gave me a template instruction manual to fill out as I went along which I’m sure will be super useful for remembering in the future. Food was amazing and I have so much that they are glad to let me take away with me. I am so surprised how easy these famous Thai dishes are to make… It is not common for these classes to offer teaching for dishes such as Pad Thai!One more thing worth mentioning – the view from the kitchen is amazing! :)Would find it hard to think of a better experience.Thank you, Phueng.
This was an amazing experience, I was the only person there so had a one to one cooking class. Pheug was easy to understand and adapted the class for me being a vegetarian and suggested alternative ingredients. Highly recommend this class, also because I wasn’t hungry, she packed it all and my family and I had it for late lunch
Phueng is a great teacher, explains everything clearly and patiently and the food tasted amazing. You learn all the food prep and do the cooking and you get a workbook to take home so you can make the meals at home. Loved this place – totally recommend their cookery course
Myself and my friend went here for a morning course cooking a total of 5 dishes… We had such a great time, we got collected bright and early (all included in the price) and brought to this lovely house with a fabulous open kitchen up the top located next to a Buddha shrine. The views were goregous. It’s run by a lovely couple who are so friendly. They had good English which really helped us with learning as much as we could during this course. Overall it was a brilliant experience and I would recommend this to everyone.
Nice to cook, nice place. Our teacher was very kind and friendly, the owner of the place was not in her best mood. See seemed to push our teacher to hurry and everytime our teacher explained things or took some time, she commented her. Also very strict about the masks, in a not so friendly way.The food was nice. Just not so much to do/prepare ourselves because she already cut up things for us and made pastes and sauces while we were eating/stirring. So we were done at least an hour earlier.If you really want to learn a lot about preparing Thai food, we would recommend another place.But, the food was delicious and we could take away what we didn’t eat!
Amazing thai culinary experience. We joined the lunch (afternoon) course: it was just the 2 of us plus the chef Pueng. We could choose 5 items of the menu and with the help of Pueng prepare each course and enjoy it. She is patient, kind and explains all the ingredients with love. The place is also nice, in the nature and next to the chines temple. Before cooking you get also a kind of cookery diploma with a small introduction to thai cuisine and then the single recipes of each plate where you can add your notes. Recommended.
My 11-year old daughter and I had a fantastic experience. The setting was beautiful, the teacher was kind and easy to understand. The transportation and logistics were easy and flexible. We loved being able to choose the dishes we wanted to cook and she was amazing with my daughter. It was definitely a highlight of our trip! Would highly recommend it!
We had a great afternoon learning 5 traditional Thai dishes. We had a choice from several options. The teachers were very clear with instructions and ingredients and they gave us a recipe book for future reference. They picked us up at our hotel and provided water. Go on an empty stomach because you will eat 5 delicious dishes! Thank you. We had a wonderful time.
Fantastic afternoon spent with my 11yr old daughter. We had two others in the class, so 4 total. The ladies were fantastic with my daughter. Food was amazing and surprisingly simply to cook given the delicious flavours. Prepare first dish, cook then eat. Then next dish, etc. We had lots of leftovers to take back to our hotel. Between my daughter and I we cooked spring rolls, fried rice, pad Thai, Tom yum, sticky rice with mango. All delicious. I got my hotel to call and make a booking and we got picked up from the hotel and back dropped off. There is an Amazing temple next door so make time to visit that too. Highly recommend!
The classes were fun and easy to follow and we were amazed that our cooking tasted just like what we have tasted in the restaurants.The view from the kitchen worth it.
