Ho ho ho….I felt like I was somewhere in Cuba! You really can’t missed the toilet! Obviously this place though! Really unbelievable, my friend took me there, they have a sorta payphone outside and the entrance was just couple hundred baths worth the experience though!!! Very lively music, lovely interior design and just feel youre somewhere in Cuba! Must visit and very recommended
We were really looking forward to the live Cuban jazz at Havana Social on Friday nights. We headed over there. It’s on a little walk street, the phone booth entrance is not hard to find. The interior is great, had a really good feel. The drinks and snacks were also tasty. The down side was some confusion we had about when the jazz started and how long it would go. We got there too early for it, and we ended up not sticking around. The Cuban jazz starts at 10 I think—we thought it was earlier, and apparently they only play for about an hour. So that was disappointing, but the place is still very cool and worth a visit.
Great little spot that actually reminds me of being in Havana. It’s right in the mid as well, being just off Soi 11. Good vibes, good music and good cocktails 👏
400thb at the door for entrance and getting a cheap drink is not too bad I guess, but when you order 4 shots of Grey Goose and you get something else is where I decide to voice an opinion.4 people, starting to sip a Grey Goose shot, and everyone looking at each other and then at the shot glass, you know something isn’t right.Even if they pour from a Grey Goose bottle, which is already opened in the bar, it definitely wasn’t Grey Goose or at least not “pure”. They probably mix it with something cheaper like Bangyikhan or maybe Absolut. You know when you drink Grey Goose or something cheap!
Me and my 3 friends decided to go to Havana for a fun Friday night out. We ordered a bottle of vodka so we could get a table and have a place to sit. In Havana they have these Panama Hats that are around the bar that you can wear. My friend really liked it and we wanted to take one home. We left Havana and I wanted one of their cuban sandwiches which I ordered one and the cook thought we ordered 2, so we paid 700 bhat plus vat for those 2 sandwiches (which are really good but a little over priced). Once done, we decided to walk and we are now about 600 meters from Havana, and a male staff member from Havana riped the hat off my friends head and yells at her to say this hat is his and that we weren’t allowed to take it. He should of stopped us and should have been polite, but he was aggressive and used force. The hat is sold on lazada (thailands amazon) for 47.43 bhat which is 1.39 USD. (SEE PHOTO BELOW) We were having such a great night, and at the end for $1.39 USD over a hat it ruined the evening. We will never go back their and because we live here we will be telling all of our friends about this experience. Yes, maybe we shouldn’t have taken it, but the way the staff member ripped the hat of my friend aggressively then yelled at us, was totally unacceptable and disgusting.
We arrived early and have to pay 400 B pr person for entrance just to find out that all tables inside is reserved, unbelievable So we ended up paying 800B to sit in the bar. What a good rip off, will definitely not return!!
The place is lovely, the service is fantastic, the drinks are great! The smoking room / cigar room is very nice also. Unfortunately, the night we visited, the music was not upto the mark.
Loved this place! Beer isn’t expensive, visitors are international, staff is friendly. What’s even more important, there are not (or at least I didn’t see) hookers inside, so you can enjoy the music and beer without interruptions.
This was the most fun experience I had in my 12 years in Thailand. The bar/club is designed like an old house in Havana, Cuba (I have been to Cuba many times). Each room is designed like a historic room in Cuba government offices. AMAZING. You must see.FREE Salsa lessons at 10:00 PM. My Thai wife learned to Salsa dance… far different from Thai dancing. BEST cocktails I have ever had. All liquor is imported from Cuba. I have this drink (named Plata O Plomo) that comes in a Smoking box (cigar smoke) . OMG You go to try it. Its an awesome experience (see attaches video). Have your phone ready to take video of it.Staff are super nice.We went 3 nights because it was that good.
the club is cool, but once again the music is so loud you can’t speak. Why do DJs always do this, what is the point. To force us to drink more?
