  1. We found this place by accident as it was close to our hotel. We booked a Thai massage and were greeted at the door and asked to fill out a health questionnaire. This was only the only massage place we visited during our trip that asked us to do this which I thought was really good. The treatment was excellent and although it did cost more than other places you could tell why. It was also a nice touch to be offered a Thai tea and a cake after our treatment. I would have gone again if we had had more time in Chiang Mai!

  2. For a good massage experience you need three things, privacy, a pleasant decor and above all a skilled masseuse that cares about the quality of the massage. I was fortunate to find the best masseuse of the various visits to massage places in Chiang Mai in Kiriyana Spa. I booked a one hour oil massage at short notice and had a near perfect experience. I was greeted not by a uniformed made up thai lady but by a young chap who spoke very good English. I opted for the blueberry oil and it was as fragrant as I expected. The massage itself was better still, the masseuse had a medium firm touch as requested and provided an especially good head massage. She spoke very good English as well which was a good bonus. The room was a proper room with doors and walls, not curtains, and nice decor. After the massage I had a very pleasant chat with a lady from the Spa who gave a nice restaurant suggestion as well. I would visit this spa every day if I could!

  3. The setting, ambience was welcoming and the service was good. The skills of the masseuse was also good. Price of a Thai massage is 500 baht, higher than the average massage you would find around the old town but the quality is what you get in return. Relaxing and private environment.

  4. I was confused by the mass of options you get for massages in chiang mai.So i was reading the internet blog of a dutch guy livong here. He recommended this spa… and he was right! :)I booked the tourist package 🙂 999Baht for 90min. Not the cheapest one but it was totally worth it.The lady knew what she was doing.I read a lot of complains in different spas that they were always chatting. But not here.It was totally relaxing. When she put to much pressure and i reacted, she asked if it was ok.So they realy care and concentrate! Would go again if i come back!

  5. With limited time in CM due to work, I wanted to find a great spa and indulge in all they had to offer. This was the right choice. It was perfect from start to end! I was picked up at my hotel by the friendliest driver, greeted with hot tea, was so relaxed by the end of my massage package that I had fallen asleep, and there was a plate of mango sticky rice (picked up from a famous CM vendor) awaiting me as I finished. This was such a treat– the kindness and talents of the staff really made it special. I will recommend this place again and again!

  6. I took my mom here for her *first-ever massage* and we both loved it. If you’re used to more western spa-like experiences, you’ll be very comfortable here (there are private rooms, we opted for an aromatherapy massage with oil, etc). The grounds are really peaceful – the spa is tucked away off a street in the old town. The massage was excellent. And the service was great – the staff even helped us plan out our evening, while we drank tea and ate a snack after our massage.

  7. It’s one of the best massages I’ve had in both thailand and Vietnam specially the foot massage they really knows what they are doing and the price is so reasonable for the quality massage that you get the staff are so friendly and nice and i loved the gesture that they gave you tea when you arrive and cake and tea after you finish whenever I’m in chiang mai I’ll go again ❤️

  8. Still the best. Excellent massage. When I’m in Chiang Mai, this is where I go for spa stuff. Lemongrass Swedish oil massage is my jam here. Private rooms, 5 star service always.

  9. Luxury spa quality where you can get a bang for your buck. The hospitality and amenities of this spa quality it as high end but cost at least a third less than the other luxury spas (e.g Oasis Spa) in the city. We visited twice during our three day trip because we loved it so much. No appointment necessary on weekdays. Cards accepted.1. The receptionists (young lady and young man who is also the owner’s nephew) speak great English and are extremely patient and helpful during the service selection. You don’t feel rushed (including nonverbal cues) and they ask for any problem areas for the masseuse to focus on. They also gave us great recommendations for bars and restaurants after our massage without much prompting. We were offered herbal tea on arrival and after our massages. 2. Massage experience- You start with a foot wash with kaffir lime and flower petals. Our first visit, I opted to an hour facial and half hour should/back massage. My girlfriend got an hour Thai massage and 30 min foot massage. We had gotten several Thai massages prior, and this was by far the best (appropriate pressure and stretching without fearing for your back or neck). Our second visit, I got an hour Swedish massage which was also great! My girlfriend opted for the sports massage, as she is used to strong pressure and Asian massages targeting tendon/trigger point (aka massages on the brink between pleasure and sore ((in a good way)) but you know your body got worked real good). She said it was one the best massages she’d ever gotten. Both visits we had the same pair of masseuses, who were great in asking about pressure and responding to our needs (more pressure, less A/C). We also had a private couples room with an attached bathroom. Bonus- the massage tables are elevated from the floor like in the US.500 baht Thai massage 1200 Swedish or facial.

  10. My wife and I visited Kiriya Spa today and had an amazing time! By far one of the best spa experiences that I have had. My wife had the Orange oil massage and foot massage while I had the body scrub followed by a oil massage. The facility is welcoming with friendly staff, exceptional atmosphere and very clean. It is set a little off the road which is great as it lends itself to being quieter. Both of our masseuse were excellent and very professional. I would highly recommend Kiriya Spa to anyone looking for a great spa experience in The old town of Chaing Mai.
