  1. Went with my family on a Sunday night. Great big venue, prices are reasonable with many goods you don’t usually find in other night markets. Easy to walk through alleys in good width. Get yourself sufficient time to spend there. You may also have your dinner there as quite a number of local food/ drink stalls. There are many songthaews and taxis waiting so going back with loads of purchase is not a problem.Friday to Sunday only.

  2. Had a wander round this market and found it to be a lot Breyer than the ones around Pattaya central. A lot more stalls and things to look at and the prices a lot better.

  3. Not a huge market – but will take some time to walk around. Don’t expect Chatuchak market, but there are plenty of vendors and food stalls. I would still budget around two hours to walk around. Huge variety of food available. Prices for goods are only slightly higher than Chatuchak, but only a few baht. More for locals than a tourist trap, so prices aren’t hugely inflated. Same items you would see for sale in many stores/malls in Pattaya but prices are better. Well worth a visit when in the area.

  4. Went to 3 night market: bao khao, thepprasit and jomthien. I feel thepprasit is the best for culinary hunting. Range of food are varies. Ate spicy pork ribs clear soup (best!), fried pork (really good), fresh orange juice, glutanious rice mango, local thai rice (taste sour and spicy). Came there on friday nite, very crowded but like the hype.Jomthien’s stall is a bit bigger and has more foreigner, but range of food is limited and not as crowded as thepprasit. Bao khao is smaller place, and open air, more like thepprasit but thepprasit has more food stall with less table for seating.

  5. This is a well established and well known night market that draws huge crowds in the weekend… there’s an amazing array of yummy foods on offer, it’s a huge challenge to choose :-)It’s mostly takeaway although there are some tables availableAll prices clearly displayed!

  6. This is an amazing huge semi-outdoor market that now takes place every evening from 5pm. Many many stalls selling all kinds of goods, many for clothes and other fashion accessories. Also under the roof is a large food court selling Thai food snacks and sweets. Due to being under the roof I found this rather hot and so apart from a quick snack and drink didn’t stay too long but there are also tables to sit at for a longer stay. There are local buses (baht bus) to and from the Jomtien end of Theppassit Road making access easy. All in all a fascinating visit and a chance to pick-up some bargains

  7. We made the mistake of shopping at Thepprasit market on a Wednesday and bought very little! What a difference on a Saturday night when there twice as many stores and better options.3 stars midweek / 5 stars Weekend and kitted out for Xmas

  8. Best OJ at 2 places, lots of food, Lobster , fresh, 1700-2000. Tons of shoes and clothes, tempura shrimp, etc. Poor man’s Central Festival. Just South is the used stuff for cheap. Open air thrift store. You can walk there, 100 yards.
