I had two different treatments during my long vacation in Bangkok in August and I would like to express my sincere appreciation to my therapist – Khun Tassanee (Khun Jack). She well took care my treatment from my head to my toe, her professional skill helped to release my muscle pain which has been tortured me for several months, and she is always my “No.1” therapist when I am in Bangkok. I will come back again during my next vacation ! : )

I take massages all around the world, but this experience is something special.This is my second visit, when I was here 3 months ago I had a very similar experience.The ambience is soothing and elegant. You have a selection of different oils to choose if that is your preference. The masseurs are world-class.In most places, I tend to have 60-minute massages. Here I have 90-minute sessions and they are worth every minute, from the tea before and afterwards with the freshly chopped fruit after the session the experience is a pleasure. My masseur was Suchada, but they are all very well trained and many have worked in top-class spas all round the world.
The Spa Intercontinental Bangkok is a great place for a relaxing massage. The place is nice and the massage room excellent. Compliments to my therapist Su who gave me a great massage and was a very skilled therapist.

Big thank to spa manager to help me get the booking over the busy weekend with great promotion. Get there 20 mins before appointment but the reception is empty so I took time to take pictures and walking around. Welcome drink was provided at last, too sweet for me though. The aroma oil is so nice, every single one of them, made it hard to choose. Finally i settled with the relaxing aroma with the hope to help me sleep better.Shoes changed, undressed, rope on, sitting and soaking feet while waiting for masseur to arrive. She was booked back to back due to lack of staffs but still full of enerygy. A little chatty then I dose off to trance state. 90 mins seem so short. Then off to get dressed, herbal drink, freshen up, then get out. Note – it’s a pay before massage which confuse me whether I suppose to put on tip amount before getting the service or give cash later or else? Note – Ask to see their hand before getting massage. The masseur with long nail scratch my skin few times, feel the burn everytime I shower.
Very enjoyable and relaxing massage. Receptionists were friendly and knowledgeable and I highly recommend therapist K. Pornnee who gave a very skilled and professional treatment, one of the best I’ve had over many years in Bangkok.
Being in Bangkok for just a few days, and staying in the hotel where this spa is based, it seemed a no-brainer to spare a few hours to get ourselves pampered here. Getting a late reservation was no problem as a few slots were open for our family of four. Excellent service, soothing and refreshing massages, and an overall very relaxing experience – we couldn’t have asked for more.
