We had two days to spend in Bangkok and hired Angela as our private tour guide for both days. It was the best thing we did! Angela showed us the key sites in Bangkok on one day and the Railway Market/Floating Market/ Mangrove Forest on the other. Angela is extremely knowledgeable, very attentive to our needs and taught us a lot about the Thai culture. She met us at our hotel both days, and hired a private van to take us around. She is willing to customize any tour, and it is obvious that her primary goal is to make sure her customers are happy. I would highly recommend anybody to hire Angela. We spent a relaxing day with Angela taking in the sites linked to the building of the Burma Railway and all of the war tragedies which I folded at that time. Our informative tour started from our hotel where we were picked and driven around in a very modern mini bus. The bus was very air conditioned and comfortable with ice drinks which was a nice touch considering how hot it was when looking around. The tour took us to the River Kwai, the railroad, railway station at Kanchanaburi, train ride and finally feeding the elephants, finishing off with an excellent meal at the Raft restaurant on the River Kwai. All day Angela was considerate and trying her very best to be informative about what we were seeing. We think touring in Thailand is a terrific experience because of the people.
