  1. it’s a great place to go out in evenings with many bars and clubs. people are friendly and nice and prices are good

  2. This city is on steroids. It seems that people don’t sleep. Any type of item you want you will find.

  3. RCA is the centre of Bangkok’s clubbing scene and officially nightlife zone. Enjoy international DJ’s as well as life concerts and soundtracks by popular local artists all in one night. The crowd is young, well dressed, carefree mood and security seems good. This city never sleeps!

  4. My Thai girlfriend has taken me to RCA several times over the past two yearsMixture of Bar/Resturants and a night clubWas busy on Saturday nights when we visited but quiet during the weekRecommend it you want a moderate night out. 5/10. JimHil

  5. I used to live near RCA Area, so every weekend I normally hang out around that area. We normally start the night with light drinking in Paul Panich, and as time goes by go to the clubs like Route 66 or Onyx.

  6. I took my 30 year old daughter there at 11pm. You would think it was late enough. But no one there: I think it fills up later for the Thai people. Thais go out late and go home in the morning. Maybe I am of the wrong age. I went to Khao San instead with daughter. I could say more but the younger people will disagree with me.Just go Khao San. It starts earlier

  7. My girlfriends and I went there, but it was very quiet with only 2 or 3 bars/clubs open. The area was not as happening as i read in the other reviews. Quite a waste of time.

  8. Regular business going on here at daytime, lots of small business venues are located here, on top of massage parloirs, cafes, restaurants and grocery shops. It turns into lively neighborhood at night with plenty places with live music, bars and clubs, targeting mainly local population. Not too bad, nor great either, worth visiting at least once.

  9. So we are visited RCA, because if you research on internet, you can find RCA as one of the largest party street in Bangkok. We found 2 huge clubs, which could be nice if you have couple of cocktails but nothing else. Maximum 2 bars, 3 restaurants and 1 tattoo studio. I know that’s more than nothing and if you just going to clubbing is good but if you planning to have some drinks and clubbing than go somewhere else because you don’t really have so much choices there. Then go to Sukhumvit and you not going to disappoint yourself.

  10. I am a darker skinned Malaysian man and my wife is Japanese, i often get mistaken for being ethnically Indian. We had an awful experience at this area. We were celebrating an event with some friends from all over the world, and later on in the night decided to visit the RCA area, and attempted to enter Route 66 nightclub. We were promptly, and very rudely told we need “reservations”, even though our friends from the USA were already inside. After we tried look at how to make a booking, we were absolutely shocked to see multiple complaints about racist policies, and the same security guard denying entry only to brown skinned individuals. There are close to a dozen complaints on their Google reviews, including a short video recording of someone who was blatantly denied entry on the basis of race. Meanwhile, other Asian groups and Caucasians were let in with no scrutiny. We have sent a complaint to the Tourism authority of Thailand already. There is simply no place for racism and blanket judgements about groups of people like this, unbelievable.
