This was one of my absolute favourite excursions during my holiday. Me and my fiance are not avid bikers and to be honest I think the last time any of us ever rode a bike was probably around 10 years ago! Chat was a great guide and shows you places you never would have seen as a “regular” tourist. The biking went in a nice slow pace and he always made sure everyone was hydrated and happy throughout. Another good thing was the fact that I could book the trip via Facebook messenger and he answered within minutes at any questions!I highly recommend this to anyone looking to be a bit more active during their vacation!
Awesome, we booked this bike tour after having read good reviews on TA. Low and behold, we were definitely not disappointed. Chat (the guide) is amazing. His English is so good and he has so many interesting stories and facts to tell you about Koh Chang. He picked us up at our hotel exactly on time and met us with a big smile. His tour takes us to areas of Koh Chang that we would never have thought of visiting on our own. The ride is fairly flat and easy with very little traffic. The bikes are Merida off-road type which have seen better days but did the job. The group he takes varies but seldom more than 6. Usually interesting people on tours of this type and we met some nice Danes and English. Chat’s well-organized route has stops for drinks along the way and ends with lunch at a great little Thai restaurant with delicious homemade food. This tour was one of the highlights of our vacation. Don’t leave Koh Chang without joining one of Chat’s tours.
Chat is a very nice guy and an exvellent tour guide.The four of us, two adults and two kids of 11 and 9 years old, made a bicycle tour with Chat. He showed us some beuatiful and interesting places. Most of all we enjouyed his knowledge, which brought us more insight in Thai culture and ways of living at Koh Chang.Also the kids enjoyed the trip very much, especially the elephant camp and the waterfall. Bur also cycling in this beautiful landscape was something we enjoyed. The trip is really okay or children from about 8 years old.
We went on a bike trip with Chad. And had the most amazing day. I’ve been in Thailand many times but still today learned new things and see a part of koh Chang I wouldn’t normally see. My warmest recommendation to go on a bike trip with Chad. He was so funny and so good at explaining the places we visit. Thank you for an amazing day:)
Myself and my girlfriend booked this ahead of our first trip to Thailand. After reading great reviews we were confident that this would be a great thing to do in Koh Chang and it was even better than expected! Chat is an excellent tour guide. He is very friendly and makes the tour incredibly fun. Chat shows you places that you would never see as a tourist such as beautiful private beaches, old fisherman’s village, Buddhist temples and a quiet waterfall to swim in to cool off at the end. Excellent value for money. We genuinely felt like we had made a new friend in Chat. Definitely the highlight of the holiday.I’d recommend doing a bit of cycling before going in preparation.We are looking to return to Koh Chang again at the end of this year and will be booking with Chat again for another tour! We had a wonderful day with Chat cycling in areas Where Thai people live on Koh Chang, such as Fishermen and farmers. Learnt a lot about thai culture and people. Hoghly recommend to everyone who likes easy cycling !
