Our group had a great time on our day charter! Unfortunately the boat we were originally taking had mechanical issues, however the team was able to get our group on another boat the same day and we still got out on the water. The owner was kind enough to cover our kayak tour and jetskis in return! Once aboard, the staff and captain were great. Very attentive and kind, and the lunch we had was some of the best food in Thailand! Definitely recommend.

My family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) charted a Leopard 43 for a 5 day/4 night excursion around Phang Nga Bay.After getting messed around last year with our bookings on a trip to Bali, I was worried about spending a deal of money up front on an excursion found on the internet. I needn’t have been concerned. Communications with Thongchat (Toy) were always professional and prompt.Boat in the Bay picked us up exactly on time from our hotel in Kamala and delivered us to the boat at the marina, and we were off in a matter of minutes. The crew on board (Ron, Ton and Nan) were wonderful and did their utmost to ensure we enjoyed our time. The scenery in the bay is the big drawcard, but we also did quite a deal of snorkelling – the coral is not bad, but no big fish. Don’t expect the Barrier Reef or Raja Ampat, but still fun. When we tired of snorkelling, the crew inflated all the water toys and we just anchored up for swimming and playing.Food was great (we outlined our preferences prior) and our only complaint was that there was too much food! With all the sun and fresh air, the whole family was happy to be in bed by 8pm.The whole of Phang Nga is a huge day trip venue from Phuket and Krabi, but being on a charter allowed us to see the main sites before and/or after the hordes descended. Our anchorages were also quiet, with great sunsets and sunrises over the limestone islands. At the conclusion of the charter we came back into the Marina mid-afternoon and were whisked off to our next hotel in Patong with no waiting or stress.Overall, it was a great trip (we were lucky with the weather) and the family thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Boat in the bay provided an excellent service and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.Some tips for travellers – if you are not used to small boat charters, there is limited room on board. Don’t expect a cruise ship. Do expect to bump parts of your body regularly – I hit my head climbing into the bunk a number of times. It can be hot on board, particularly if you have had a lot of sun, so you tend to need to move around to find shade (there is aircon at night from the generator to sleep). There are also lots of bitey things in the water (sea lice or broken up jelly tentacles?) and they can be unpleasant whilst snorkelling, and my kids did come up in big welts that needed itch cream. All part of the experience. There isn’t much to do apart from watch the scenery go by or swim, and no wi-fi (which was a bit of a shock to the kids). For me though, just floating about on the ocean is what it is all about.
Great trip on a wonderful big catamaran! The team work is at a high level, the food is very tasty. The weather was wonderful and we visited the islands of Maiton and Kai. I recommend this company for organizing sea trips!
The boat was clean and comfortable as the past year. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the outings and will do it again when we come back next year!
We booked a trip on a catamaran for 80 guests. The trip was amazing, everything was perfet, the staff, food, boat and the activities. Would definately recomend this trip.
Julia was amazing, from the start we had a million questions as we were going with a few kids and weather etc. She was patient to recommend which boat would suit us and the best islands for us. The boat itself was amazing, very clean, and the boat owner came to send us off and came when we docked back. What an amazing personal touch. We wld def do this again !
We booked Grand Bank 53 boat with the company and we are so happy to do that! From the start to the end we had such a lovely time! The booking and the communication with our sales manager Toy was so smooth and he accomodated all our requirements we had while booking,incl.our special request for the menu and welcomed us on the boat and supported with the tips for the route. Our Captain Wut was so naturelly friendly person we loved his personality so much and he ensured wonderfull and safety sailing to many beautiful places. The crew members Philip and John were so helpful and supporting us in every moment. Our chef Kookie prepared us all meals so delicious and tasty with a huge variety of Thai cuisine and supports us great during our cruise all the time. Our Captain Wut with the crew privided us with the incredible hospitality, they were so friendly and supported us with all our requests, we are so glad to meet such lovely and kind people and would love to stay with them longer!Highly reccomended to everyone,it was fabulous experience. We do thank you for your great service! We are so happy to have a chance to spend a time with our Captain Wut and our crew on this luxury boat! This was hands down the best day ever! The crew Char, Sue and Yar, were so attentive and catered for our every need. The trip was well planned and the crew made sure to tell us where we going and how long each leg of the journey would take. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. If you’re in Phuket and are looking for a private boat for a trip then this has to be the company you use. You will not be disappointed.
