I had an excellent experience with Tem and Chantana on the Bangkok street food tour I recently did. The booking was easy and at a very reasonable price. They met me at the station, spoke good English and then I was taken to about 10 different eateries, which I would have never found on my own. The food was unique and delicious, they also thrown in a few shots of Rum at their own cost! I would highly recommend this tour and my guides Tem and Chantana, they knew a lot about the food and the city. Thankyou.
Because our time in Chiang Mai was limited, we booked a private day tour to Chiang Rai. We had an amazing time…thanks to Purichat! She was very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the history of Chiang Rai. We also appreciated her thoughtfulness in making this trip a very memorable experience for us. Would highly recommend!!
Boat is a great guide, nothing was too much trouble for him. He took us to several places of interest for death railway, made sure we were taken care of on the train and lunch. Feeding and bathing with the elephants (they like to share the water) was great fun. Boat is an excellent driver and made sure we had plenty of comfort stops.Your visit: 11 December 2023
Chinatown was packed with people, colorful with all the Chinese New Year Celebrations. Our guide, Ben was really knowledgeable and shared us with great AUTHENTIC food from Chinatown. Thanks for the experience!!!
This little walking tour was a nice introduction to the Chinatown area which can be overwhelming with large crowds, sites, smells, and Tuk Tuks but it wasn’t the food tour I was hoping for. My guide seemed to be more versed as a cultural guide, pointing out many closed Wats. I intentionally booked the tour in the evening (when many businesses and Wats are closed) to focus on food and was ready to try everything and anything. The guide was not very interested in food and asked me what I wanted to eat, which was confusing. Even after I told her I was up for trying anything, she seemed to flounder to make a plan for where to start and suggested a dessert. What I ended up wasting g was tasty but not as adventurous as I had hoped: Some Crispy pork, spicy squid, khanom bueang, a coconut slushy, and some just ok donut bites. The guide was so nice I wish I could give this more stars but it wasn’t a food tour as advertised.
We toured Chinatown and sampled alot of dishes. The best part was that our guide, Joy, was on time, knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely got value for money. Thanks Joy!
We had a lovely day with Eddie and our driver, Bert.He took us to “off the tourist path” locations, as well as those advertised in the itinerary. His passion for local history ( and particularly defining features in temples Lanna vs Burmese styles) was outstanding, as well as his photography skills. Although we did feel a little overwhelmed by the number of photos/video clips being taken as we wanted to just enjoy the sights. Our local lunch was delicious with a great view and mai phet ( not spicy) as requested! The bonus, at an extra cost, of seeing the terraced rice fields was great.
Damnoen Saduak floating market is clearly a pure tourist attraction. If I could go back, I would rather go to the smaller floating market in Bangkok.Souvenirs, food and drinks are at least x1.5 the regular price.Prices are regulated: 2000 bath for 1 hr motor boat; 1000 bath for 1 hr rowing boat.We spent 1.5 hr going around the canals and we enjoyed it but don’t expect to find a place where locals go to do groceries!
