I visited this center during lantern festival.The best massage I had in Thailand. You can choose from soft, medium and hard massage. Excellent, I really enjoyed it❤definitely recommended

Excellent traditional Thai massage. I had several in Chaing Mai and this was my favorite. I loved that they asked “soft, medium or hard” at the start and checked if all ok several times. I would recommend for anyone.
The outside area is beautiful, very relaxing to get you in the right mindset just before your massage. Eveyone is super lovely. My masseuse was called masa, she was amazing, so sweet and funny. If I’m in Chiang mai again, I will 100% be going back.

Great massage! They ask you if you want the pressure to be soft, medium or hard so they adapt to your needs. I’d recommend going early as you can’t book in advance and it’s a very popular place! I went at 9 and had to wait half an hour but the space outside is beautiful and there’s a cafe to grab a drink whilst waiting. Loved my massage, thank you!
Fantastic place with a cafe and massage facility. I’ve had foot massages two mornings in a row followed by fresh coconut water in the shell. This is a very special and relaxing place right in the heart of the old town. And what an excellent initiative to support. Five stars from me!!
SO good. Arriving early to book a time slot for the massage is necessary. We arrived just before 9am and we received a time for our massage at 10am. Worth the wait!
The Thai massage and Spa at the women’s prison also has an excellent little cafe and we called in for a quick drink between visits to other attractions. Seating is available outside shaded by trees etc. service really was with a smile and was very professional. Our drinks were first class. Unfortunately, there was very little bakery but, despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Prices are very reasonable and cooked food is also available. Good to see that both the coffee shop and the massage centre provides great opportunities for the women to learn skills that will hopefully help them avoid crime in the future.We will certainly visit again she next in Chiang Mai.Highly recommended.
This massage venue is run by The Department of Corrections here in Chaing Mai..It is where women inmates are given the opportunity to learn new skills as part of a rehabilitation programme..In my honest opinion of travelling around Thailand for many years now, my 2-hour thai massage was the very best massage I have enjoyed whilst visiting the country..You have to arrive very early and stand in a que.., no online or phone enquiries bookings taken…They open at 8 am. on weekdays and 9am on weekends..You’re alloted a ticket with a number in the que you’re in..You can choose 1hr / 2hr thai massage or perhaps you would just like a foot / leg massage..You let the front of office know what you want at the time you get the ticket…There are lockers to place all your belongings, and only you have the key. This was a very relaxing and very deep all-over body massage that absolutely stretched the muscles for sure..You tell the lady how you want the massage..?Soft… medium, hard..There’s cctv in place around the build where these massages are given..Outside is a wonderful eatery area, and the cusine that we enjoyed was delicious..And attached to this venue, is a small museum that gives an insight into what this establishment is all about..So if you would like a thai massage that also contributes to helping women prisoners gain confidence and a new skill, then i wholeheartedly suggest that this venue won’t disappoint you..No pictures of the inmates are allowed..So only a few pics of the eaten my post..
