Probably one of the best massage places in chiang mai. Quite expensive, but worth the money. Private rooms, very professional massage. Highly recommended.
Today I just got the worst massage in my life at Makkha Spa.I cannot sleep now because my arms are so sore from the massage I had today. The lady who gave me massage had some kind of “anger” and she chose to take it out on me. She kept ignoring my requests of “ softer” and kept giving me “very strong” massage. By the end of the massage, she asked to sit up. Seeing me having trouble sitting up after lying down for 1.5 hours, she didn’t bother to help me up. I have no idea why she was so mean to me. I feel abused. I’ve had so many massages before, unfortunatrly, this one at Makkha Spa is the worst one because of their mean and unprofessional massage lady.
Excellent quality spa. From arrival and throughout the spa staff were nice and polite and professional. The treatments were high quality and I hope to return. This spa, like T Massage (more of a day spa), were amazing and top quality. Unlike the corrupt scam which is The Common Spa which was complete trash (overpriced, dirty, sad, corrupt, and the very worst massage therapists I’ve every experienced). Thank you Makkha Spa for a wonderful,.relaxing, therapeutic, and beautiful experience!
Great massage. We’ve come back two days in a row. Bit more pricey than the high street but worth the service.
This is my first time to Makkha Health & SPA.This place was tranquil, heavenly with the most relaxing beautiful setting. And you get your welcome drink/snack + finish with a sweet as candy mango sticky rice.I cannot ask for more.Strongly recommend!!!!!
The best massage ever. Thank you Shirley. I have had many massages. I actually go monthly at home. Shirley hit all the right spots and really loosened up the knots on my shoulders and upper back. My calves and feet feel so good. The constant discomfort I have from activities went away. The ambience of the spa was very nice. The staff were all friendly and the room. I wish I had gone there sooner. I visited the Makkah spa at the Burrirattana hotel and it was not as good. I almost didn’t try another Makkah massage. My daughter and son-in-law had massages at the Colonial Gardens location and raved about it. The massage , ambience and room were way better! The Buririattana didn’t even have the donut-like pillows form my face.
Had an amazing time at the spa – we went there twice because it was just that good! First up was a Thai massage that worked out all the kinks and left us super relaxed. Then, we tried the aroma oil massage, and oh boy, it was blissful. The staff were super friendly and professional, making us feel right at home. The rooms were big, clean, and just the perfect spot to unwind. Loved the chill vibe of the place too, with some really nice touches like welcome drinks and snacks before and after the massages. Totally recommend it if you’re looking to treat yourself!
This was great cake for money , hot stones massage , Thai facial and a Thai massage for husband £103 . Yes you can get it on the streets in the smaller establishments cheaper . However anyone who visits a spa in the UK will know that 41/2 hours worth of treatments for this price is a snip . I found them professional in that we filled out a consultation form first we opted for standard on firmness of massage and that was enough . However the therapist did ask if we wanted it softer or firmer The mango sticky rice at the end was a nice touch
Such a wonderful experience here for my 40th. I had an amazing massage, followed by fresh mango and sticky rice. To top it off as it was my birthday the ladies sang me happy birthday and bought a slice of carrot cake out. It was so special. The massage oil I chose was orange and cinnamon – I wish I would have bought some!Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience. Great place and highly recommend.
Very professional, quite and relaxing ambience. Welcome with a wet towel and tea. At the end they serve Mango and Sticky Rice. Rooms are neat and cool. The message was good and experienced and knew the job. Maybe the prices may be a little bit higher than at other places, but the service and facilities make it worth it. It’s Soothing and Calming right from the entrance.Would recommend this place.
