My wife and i went diving in this school. She passed her advanced open water and I did fun dives. I was really impressed by the excellent pedagogy of the teachers of this school. They are mostly French and German but can also teach in English. They take the time to explain things to some quite extent details. They are not here to take your money and certify you in two days like many dive center in Koh Tao. If you have never been diving before or are not very confident this is the place for you for sure!On top of the excellent team, the school is on a very nice beach where the under marine life is super rich and diversified. When you are a biginner, entering the water with all your gears from the beach is so much more reassuring. And when everything you want to see is just there, well, it makes the experience perfect!Tanote bay is a very quite and nice bay on the other side of Koh Tao, away from the madness of Sairee Beach. Perfect for families, friends and couples who want to enjoy the beauty of the island without the party party vibe days and night.
We loved our experience at Calypso Diving. All the staff is young and friendly, you get a warm family feel the moment you step right in. PP put us immediately at ease and is super knowledgeable and thorough. The fun dive around Tanote Bay was great. Highly recommend for your trip to Koh Tao!
Fantastic diving club on the magnificent Ao Tanot beach, with a warm family atmosphere. Instructor (Mélanie) is a great listener and teacher. Multilingual. An experience to be recommended!
