Lighthouse Bay is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking North East Side of Ko Tao, Thailand
We hired out a long boat for 400 baht each ( 10 of us )The boat took us around the Island to 5 spots to snorkel and this was probably are favourite. The water was very clear and calm with a lot of visibility into the depths and a wide variety of fish…..Highly recommendedBest £8 I’ve spent 🙂
Actually simply great. If you have chance pls just go it will worth. Corals and reefs are beautiful. Lots of different fishes.
Very beautiful spot for snorkeling. Need to go by boat but worth every penny. Busy at some moments but take your time to enjoy the beautiful sealife.
Good place to snorkel. Some ledges and large coral formations. Water was clear. Bay was protected from winds.
I did my first PADI dive in this spot. It’s a nice shallow spot for scuba diving for beginners to enjoy.
Our first ocean dive with Big Blue was in this little bay. We only went to 12M, but I’ll never forget my first diving experience here. It was a brand new world and so exciting to explore. Highly recommended!
Best is to book a long-tail boat (2800- 3000 bahts) to bring you here, and maybe visit Aow Leuk as well.
A beautiful little bay we got to via boat. There is warm shallow water here that goes over reefs teeming with life. When we visited there were 7/8 reef tip shark pups that were gorgeous to see and lots of schools of fish swimming around. A great place to snorkel or dive!
Amazing experience snorkelling in the bay, we saw so many coloured fish, it was like swimming in a tropical fish tank. Love it.
