  1. Great Indian temple Lord Vishnu in Bangkok to visit and feel like your homeland, temple celebrate all the main indian festival at fullest ,

  2. If you are not around the corner I wouldn’t bother go here, I went here while I was walking around the neighbourhood .

  3. After visiting many buddism temples in Bangkok, this hindu temple was a amazing surprise for us , very colourful, must see attraction! Tiny minus – camera not allowed inside the temple, pictures inside – prohibited.

  4. Nice.Peaceful. Divine. Temple is well managed. I came to know that at the last Sunday of the month devotees celebrate all the festivals that fell in the month along with Sunderkand Path. It is simply good.

  5. A century-old Hindu Temple established in Bangkok by Hindus settled in Bangkok dedicate to Hindu God Vishnu and has various other Hindu deities at the temple. The weekly gathering happens on Sundays from 10:30 am till 1:00 pm followed by ‘Preeti Bhoj – lunch ‘. Hindu festivals are celebrated with great fanfare, here.

  6. I enjoyed my trip to this temple, after ages. At 3-30 pm,it was quiet and peaceful. The priest was patient ,said a prayer for my family, and also made me repeat a prayer, which uplifted my spirits, especially during Covid times. It was not like the mad rush and impatient priests,in the famed Uma Devi Temple, in Silom! I was happy to pray before a large pantheon of Indian Gods here- Vishnu, Uma Devi, Ganesh, Krishna, Hanuman, Rama-Sita. On the other side of the Temple, they conduct Hindu rites for funerals, and have a crematorium. Infact, I went there to attend a funeral, and that’s how I got the opportunity to pray at this temple, after a long time.

  7. Walked past the Wat Witsanu Hindu Temple just as they were closing the gates. I had a look through the gates. A guard came to see me and said there was a special visitor there today – a swami from India. He then said he felt I should see him and asked if I would? I said “sure”. I was brought to his room. The staff asked if he would see a westener before he went to bed and he agreed. They found an interpreter. I took off my shoes and went into his room. I asked his name and it is Swami Arunanand Maharaj from India.Swami said he wanted to tell me of my future and past. I saw no harm in that. What I didn’t expect is that he then pulled out his phone and opened an app and asked me for the details of when I was born, and where, and the exact time. He entered my details into the app, but I did not know the exact time. He said his reading would then not be so accurate without those details, but he went on. He was kind. He did not charge me anything, and he wished me well. I was glad that he made time to see a stranger.
