We always take our visitors from out of town. You can get a great view of the Sea of Fog early in the morning.
It’s 12 kms from Phrae but well worth the trip.Fantastic view looking down over Phrae city and the valley.Plenty of car parkingThere are bungalows to rent next to a stream at the bottom of the road leading to Doi Leng.
The temple is on the top of the hill. We drove on a paved sloping (and narrow) path surrounded by a bunch of trees up the hill to the parking lots, then walked few steps up to the temple. The temple’s main feature is a small white pagoda that contains Buddha relics lies in front of a beautiful Lanna style wooden hall. Behind the hall, there is a viewpoint where we enjoyed a panoramic view of Phrae city and surrounding green hills. Recommend.
