Wat Phra That In Khaen Temple is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Ban Nakhuha, Saun Khuean Subdistrict, Thailand
To visit this place you need a car . This is not a temple actually and there are not much to see. but there is a great view and very very fresh air.This is the most ozone area in Thailand.
At about 24km from Phrae you can easily go there by motorbike. The ride to there is beautiful and the view once on the top is awesome. Nice place lost in the mountains
Deep in the green mountainous zone of Phrae with around 30 minute driving from the city, there is a serene Buddha park hidden on the mountain. After parking a vehicle, ones have to climb up the stairs to visit an imitation of sacred places in Myanmar like Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (also known as “The Golden Rock” ; the rock looks like it is balanced on a ridge, about to fall down at any moment) and the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. The place also contains several Buddha images including “Phra pud” (the upper half of a large golden Buddha statue which seems to emerge from the ground) and Lanna style jade Buddha. Moreover, from the Golden Rock plateau, you will see an epic panoramic view of abundant forest and green mountains.
Large golden stupa in the middle of a beautiful temple which is the best known in Phrae. God place for merit, and walk with prayer around stupa 3 times!
