  1. There is loads of small shops, restaurants and bars. These are a variety of cheap to expensive. A road leads y’all along the front of the beach front between everything and is clean and tidy. Friday night there is a street fair and people come with all sorts of street food and all sorts of other things with live music and cheap beer and cocktails

  2. Don’t know what the other reviews are doing here…..THIS is Pak Nai.Hwy 101 from Nan, then 1026 and 1339 will bring you to the end of the road here at Pak Nai Fishermans Village. The Nan River contributes to the Sirikit Reservoir and at this point for you to continue your journey to Na Haeo you need to catch a bamboo ferry, pulled by a small longtail which drags you maybe a kilometre across the lake to the road where you can continue your journey. The jetty is part of the floating village and with a series of large connected barges creates the local eatery and cold drinks. Here you ask about the ferry, the lady gets on the two-way and presto you are on your way. What a great experience on our trip…..and it was cheap.

  3. Ban Pak Nai. End of beautifull road, Pak Nai village. To continue otherside have to take bamboo raft. When come by big road you have to turn right to a small road thru the forest to end to a ferry landing. Some 300-400metres before big road ending. June2016 waterlevel really low. Allmost nothing in the village itself. Ferry crossing quite fun though.

  4. So this is a dam cutting off a road through the mountains, a fishing village exists. Some resteraunts, even though it’s a national park, beer can be had.Everything is on the north side. There is some very basic accomodation, fan room, shared bathroom, these are floating and rock hard when even the smallest boat goes by, we had to head back to town because my wife gets sea sick but if you don’t mind a back packer type bed for the night it would be an interesting experience.Town is only 30 minutes north.A step back in time, a cool experience reminded me of central cambodia. The ferry was easy, 3km to the other side, I think they close between 5pm and 8am, bikes were only 150baht.
