  1. Maha Sarakham for me was a great place to spend the week, the food was fantastic and I only ever ate at the plethora of street vendors.Take a trip to the night markets ,although there is little in the way of unique goods, the atmosphere is great with families out and about. There is a half reasonable bar scene happening too along the canal in town and on Thursday night it was jumping, the various bars and eateries were overflowing with university students. So in short when out and about in Thailand on holiday please don’t forget the North East it is worth the effort. Will I go back…..yes
