  1. It’s odd I’ve never reviewed this park; it’s one of the best in Bangkok. It’s the site of an old golf course, or so I’ve heard, which explains why the plant life is so mature. You can rent a bike there for next to nothing (25 or 30 baht, a dollar or less) and ride a nice 3 km track around the park in a circle. I was surprised that my 4 year old daughter did so well with that given that we’ve slacked in teaching her to ride a bike better just yet (they rent them with training wheels too, or adult versions with seats for kids).Rain is a concern; it’s best to go in the late morning instead of the afternoon in the rainy season because it rains less then. There’s really no predicting that though, and forecasts can give a good idea but they could be wrong. The one downside is that it’s tricky to get to, especially given how close it is to Mo Chit and Chatuchak park and market. It’s not far away–maybe as fast to walk over from Mo Chit as drive–but the streets layout is a bit counter-intuitive.There is an inexpensive, local-style food area by where they rent bikes and a more expensive, modern-style, air conditioned version over just inside the park entrance. Food would be as inexpensive as it gets in Bangkok at the local version and then dishes are 75 to 150 baht or so in that other type of venue, still not bad. There are playgrounds within the park (at least two), and a workout equipment area (I don’t think those machines would support a great workout though), some tennis courts, and a butterfly garden, at least per one sign.

  2. This is a beautiful gardan right now. The location is very easy to go and nice transportation. there available 05.00-21.00 pm in every day. This park you can use the local transport (bus) and sky train from the city. The park is very nice because have many tree and you can relaxing long time until the garden is closed. The Table available is alost of choices for your seat. I am sure to came back here again.🏵️😄😄♥️♥️

  3. The place is nice and lots of green. I would recommend you to rent a bicycle and cycling around. There are several station to stop by and do sight seeing. This place make Bangkok more enjoyable and full of fresh air.

  4. If you want to take a break from the wonderful, but also crazy and chaotic Bangkok, you have to visit this park. You can easily this park from bts (Mo-chit) and mrt Chatuchack park. You have to go through the small Chatuchack park in order to reach the bigger Wachira Benchathat Park. They are attached, so I consider them how the same park, although formally they are distincts. The admission is free. The park isn’t full of people, and you can ride bicycle, running, walking, or simply having some relax. Moreover you can see in the park some animals like monitor lizards, squirrels, birds.Inside the park there is the Bangkok Butterfly Garden, where you can see some plants and of course butterflies.Anyway you can see many beautiful plants and flowers around the park. There are also some sign of explanations about plants but they are written only in thai (so we can suppose it isn’t so turist, and that is good).

  5. Being in a metropolitan like Bangkok, it’s almost impossible to believe there are plenty of beautiful and well-visited (by locals) parks throughout the city. This is also called the “train park”, accessible by BTS right next to Mo Chit station. Even met an marine iguana having his afternoon swim. At 6pm, there is a simple flat-raising ceremony while playing the national anthem.

  6. I took a grab bike from my hotel right to the main entrance. The sunflower field was a 5 minutes walk away and thankfully there were still some sunflowers in bloom! It was really pretty and many locals were also taking photos there! I’m very impressed with how clean the park is. A good place to relax and get away from the city.

  7. Lovely Park for a walk which connects to Queen Sikrit Park and Chatuchak Park. There are play areas, basketball courts, toilets, drinks stands,

  8. Beautiful scenery for a relaxing, calming, and chilling for everyone to enjoy! This location is in the city centre, but the surroundings are peaceful and natural, with plenty of greenery. Since I went to the park in November, the weather has been lovely and windy; it has not been too hot. I was able to spend longer at the park to do a lot of activities, such as painting, riding a bicycle, picnicking with my family, and admire all of the great environment together. If you enjoy riding bicycles but do not own one, there are places where you can rent one for roughly 40 Bath. If you are interested in yoga and meditation, there is a group of people who meet in the park to form a club, which you can join! you can also bring your pets to walk around the restricted area in the park. This is a great option if you want to spend this weekend somewhere new:)

  9. This is a nice big park full of greenery, walking paths, cycling paths, toilets and exercise facilities. I even found a giant lizard wandering around. The thing was about the size of a Komodo Dragon. Despite wandering around for over an hour, I never saw any food facilities except on the main road, Kamphaeng Phet 3 Road, opposite Wachirabenchathat Sports Center. The park is worth visiting if you’re looking to get off the beaten tourist track in Bangkok.
