  1. I had a totally enjoyable experience at Wat Phra Si Ariyabot , a great place to explore on your travels between Bangkok and Chiang Mai.

  2. Good and relax have bike for rent there price for thai pay 40 Foreign 200 hope thailand will change price for Foreign soon .. feel sorry for that too.

  3. This is one of the best ruins within Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park. I like this park because it is quieter than the more famous Sukhothai Historical Park. This park is set in the forest, with many trees and other natural beauty. It has a lot of shade so you don’t get as hot as many of the other parks. Not crowded, so you aren’t distracted by other people. All in all, a great place to relax and enjoy peacefulness.

  4. The main historical park is the place to visit first, but the standing Buddha here is worth the trip (car or bicycle) from the park and is near the restaurants overlooking the river.

  5. Very nice historic sites. You need to explore on foot so prepare comfortable shoes. There is a QR quote in every interesting place so bring your mobile phone with you.

  6. We liked the description (in English) of what this Wat looked like in the 14th – 16th century. Walk to the back of the Wat to see the huge standing buddha.

  7. one of the “WAT” in the national park of Kamphaeng phet. You can see the culture back to how practical art from the past.

  8. Not a big area but the uniqueness exists. It shows the beautiful buddha images on four sides differently: standing, reclining, sitting, walking.

  9. To me, Wat Phra Si Ariyabot is the most impressive of the many temples in Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park. It’s easy to miss the fabulous standing Buddha as it faces away from the access roads, but it’s worth seeking out. Truly magnificent!
