Thanatorn Orange Farm is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 50110, Thailand
A nice farm for tourist, a decent place to have a stop over for a break. a tour on a tram of the huge plantation with a section of flora nursery in the compound. Catch the tree watering by timed water spray system, it make a nice photo. The mountain view behind is refreshing too
The garden at the hill top of the orchard is well-kept. It has many variaties of flowers. There are also gourds, snake gourds and pumpkins. A wonderful place for shutterbugs!!!
Thanatorn orange orchard offers for a small fee a guided tour of their farm in an open air bus, taking you through the huge farm along the orange trees of different type. They explain what they grow and how much is cultivated but it is all in Thai. Half way through they will stop at a nice area with many flower during the Thai winter period, where you can enjoy the views over the valley and meticulously maintained gardens. At the entrance, you will find the usual coffee shop, souvenirs and shop selling oranges. We were slightly disappointed as we were hoping to be able to pick oranges with the kids but that is not an option. It is still worth a visit for the views and for the kids to see how oranges grow in orchards.
Very beautiful and nice for shoot a photo, you can roaming around via tram and they gonna stop 4-5 highlight spot that you can down and get very nice photos. There are fresh oranges, fresh orange juice available for sell too.
Recommended to visit this orange plant where is the most tasty orange in Thailand. Huge area with peaceful environment.
We had our lunch break here at the restaurant. The food was quite good and the orange juice was surely outstanding. Took the opportunity to purchase fruits as well. Didn’t have the time to take a tour and therefore couldn’t learn about the farm itself.
It was an interesting rest stop driving between Doi Angkhang & Mae Salong. It’s an orange orchard where they offer a tram ride around their property for a fee. There’s a simple restaurant if you are incline for a simple meal of fried rice, noodles & some dishes. Scenic.
We visited this Orange farm on a beautiful December morning. Entry is Free and tickets for the tram are very cheap.Looking around the farm that have taken the time to make it beautiful for their guests. We had a good taking photos in some of the areas that we found.
Right next to main road, this farm offers free tours of its premises (done by train like shuttle) and coffee shop on site. Fruits and juices can be bought there too. No entry fee, prices of food are reasonable.
I like plants and their growing even my job is in relation with it. I went by foot to the orange farm from Tha Ton. They offer me tram ride around the orchard. I was the only passenger in that tram. First and last stop for some photos was on the top of orchard’s slope. Ok, because there is beautiful view. But that was all and driver went down to base of farm. No comments about oranges growing or history of farm at all. In the base I saw posters in thai language. I was dissapointed , because they didn’t have any material in English and they didn’t speak English so I couldn’t learn anything about such wonderful orange orchard. And orange juice was sold out.
