The true arena is a little bit out of the city but it is definitely worth a visit. I have a membership for 3 months and visit is around 3 to 4 times a week. They offer a wide variety of sports classes which range from “womans only” to “bodycombat” and “RPM”. There are also many many machines and equipment when you do not want to attend a class.I can highly recommend the class “bodycombat”. The course is very exhausting but so much fun. The trainer “RENU” is such a motivating person. She is the best I think. You can really see that she loves what she is doing and every class with her is very much fun. Thank you for that Renu. After working out you have the possibility to steam or to use the rooftop pool to relax. The showers here are also very nice. Also the staff at the entrance, where you show your membercard, is very nice. They always welcome you with a smile and help you wherever they can.The only thing that is not so good are the prices. They are rather high.
True Arena has 11 Tennis courts and there are regular tennis tournaments with International Tennis stars on the ITF & WtA tour. However, Tennis workshops for residents, kids and visitors are organized by True Arena with support of the Paradorn Tennis Academy of Bangkok. Tennis star Paradorn , once number 9 on the international ATP heads the Tennis Academy. Tennis coach Ittipol Srisen teaches at workshops for kids groups as well as grown ups and one to one lessons. In addition , True Arena has several social events where residents and visitors play together doubles games, having a lot of fun and get to know other tennis players in the area.regular competitions, mainly double set ups, among the social groups are held on weekends. As far as I know, tuesdays and thursdays from 6 to 8 pm, several courts are reserved for visitors and the fees are THB 300 which seems reasonable as the courts are of an international standard. Better give True arena a call to find out more about these social evenings. My friends and mysel are regular players and we enjoy the professional atmosphere of True Arena.
Outstanding facilities and equipment. Very modern. Great class table, all but two classes are included in the price, some classes clash. Might cost you a mortgage to join.
Had the pleasure of working here during the WTA Thailand Tennis Open and is a great venue. Good quality tennis courts, soccer fields, rooftop pool, fitness centre, squash courts and more. Can use for meetings, conferences and such like. Very well maintained and world class facilities.
As a tennis rookie, I found that True Arena really offers professional tennis coaching. Our tennis group plays tennis regular at True Arena and some of us take extra tennis lessons with coach splendid Khun Boy who also specializes in teaching kids, single and as a group. Than there is the Paradorn International Tennis Academy headed by the former ATP player Paradorn Srichapan who rose to stardom with highest rank of #9 on the ATP tour, where lessons and sparring partners can be booked. The courts are in top condition and there is a well equipped gym with a roof top swimming pool to chill off. Unfortunately the restaurant is not always open, but cold drinks can be bought at the reception level. I warmly recommend True Arena as your Tennis Mecca. It is located just South of Hua Hin´s Blu Port Mall and practically opposite of the Vana Nava Water Jungle Park and Holiday Inn Hotel.
I gave up my membership after almost three years tolerating disappointing operational and hygiene standards. There is clearly no interest in satisfying the needs of individual members. I never learnt who were the operations managers throughput my membership. They were never identified and certainly made no attempt to meet to get feedback. When I first joined there was a number of feedback boxes and forms around the premises but these were soon removed. When an organization does that you are absolutely clear that it has little interest in improving its performance to better satisfy its customers. Its a great shame because it could be a very good facility if it was better managed.
The below is the review I wrote one year ago. I’m coming up for renewal but won’t…if you just want a gym there are others starting up which are good too. I know my partner and I are so frustrated to work out in a gym with no music. It means alot if you do not want to wear headphones. Also no movement on fees if you just want gym only and no classes… which then makes gym only workouts VERY expensive indeed! Here is my review.Yes….staff are nice…yes it is a well equipped gym and the tennis courts are great…BUT I have never been to a gym anywhere in the world where there is no music, it’s SO SO boring! Im not happy with wearing earphones all the time to listen to music to enhance my workout, not good. They have great music playing in other parts of the building, changing room lol…but none in the gym, so you have to listen to the machines, grunts and treadmills. Management not intetested either which is not nice. Manager reply not sufficient, mostly young ish people in gym so I’m sure they don’t mind lively music…2019!
Being on a four-week vacation and a dedicated gym junky, I looked for a gym and landed at True. Yep, it’s expensive but totally worth it. The gym is well equipped with the latest material, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful and everything is taken care of. A couple of added bonuses: a steamroom in the locker area and the WTA Thailand Open, to which members have unrestricted access. I hope to be back in Hua Hin next year and will surely return to True.
The sports center is clean and complete. Lovely to go every day and look after yourself. I highly recommend this sports center.
Zero disabled facilities, not even a drop curb from the car park for wheelchairs. This venue hosts international tennis competitions and wheelchair tennis is an international sport, it should be removed from the circuit until its facilities match those of an international venue and stop excluding people.
Awful place, no attendants in the morning unless your monthly fees are due, under staffed 5 for 500 members).Equipment good, plenty room, hygiene questionable but probably due to staff budgets. I’d give it a miss but you can try for free as with other gyms. It may be better now as true have withdrawn, but it may be worse, not sure
