Not too far from city center or 10 mns walk from train station, quite a surprise to see and old Christian church. Worth a look.
Ism not a religious person, known for frequently visiting churches. So in my opinion the church in Trang is not special in relation to the average church (worldwide).I visited this church years ago, mainly because it is situated very clise to the olace my wife was born. And also because she told me, she went to a priest there, to ask advise how to write her family name in our alphabetThe church is situated about ten to fifteen minutes walking from the railway station in T rang
I went their on Thursday, the church is closed. So I only look around outside. The structure is very antique and luxury.
I was invited into the church, because we made an appointment with the current pastor. The church is one of the oldest and largest churches in Southern Thailand.
It’s a neat little church in the middle of the city, You can not enter it and they ask you to remove you shoes after reaching the top steps. Neat to see but wouldn’t go out of your way looking for it.
This church seems to be closed constantly except when in service. There’s not much to do except take a few photos outside.
