The Pillar Shrine of Buriram is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Thailand
Right next to the Wat Klang Temple in Buriram is the City Pillar Shrine. Every capital city of all the provinces has one and it represents the centre and the spirit of the city & province, (In Thai ‘ Lak Mueang). The shrine was rebuilt in 1969 in the prang Khmer style with soft brown stone. being about 16 meters tall this is a large and attractive structure, it is in its own grounds which also includes a Chinese Buddhist temple. Bring your camera and enjoy a relaxing walk a round and have respect for the religious nature of the site.

its very nice , i got chance to visit for several minutes on the way to chon buri and i didnt go inside, but in the outside its marvelous.
