  1. Coming back from Chiang Mai we stopped at the hot springs. You can get eggs and cook them in the spring .Now i know what rotten egg gas smells like … The ghostly temple 3 minutes up the road is alot better

  2. After a morning of walking around a few temples it was nice to sit down soak our feet and have a cold drink and some food. There are several cafes around the hot springs were you can sit and relax. All the usual facilities available including a 5 baht toilet block.

  3. This is a half way stop between Chiang Mai and Phayao and provides the amenities of pay toilets (decent by local standards) Coffee shops (numerous), Souvenir shops (more numerous) with the added attraction of a pretty hot hot spring. It is not actually artesian – there are pumps that are pumping the subsurface water up. The water is mineral rich with usual sulfurous smell – but it is not Yosemite or Rotorua so keep your expectations limited. There is one place (free) for sitting and putting your feet in a shallow channel and give your feet a hot mineral water bath, somehow I wasnt tempted and did not see anyone else doing it either. You can also buy an egg and put it in in the stream (not in the same foot bath channel!), pick it up down stream and eat a boiled egg – the water is hot enough!

  4. This was the first stop of my 1 day tour of Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai…. the hot water shooting quite high …. took a few photos :)It also has some food stalls, toilet , and a warm spring water bath for your legs just nearby.

  5. We stopped for coffee and a bathroom break. The coffee was excellent. The bathrooms were clean and the fee to use them was very small. The unfinished temple is a curiosity. It was built as a commercial enterprise, but construction was halted by the courts because it was a knockoff of a Hindu Temple.

  6. A good location for pit stop and stretch the legs during our trip to Chiang Rai. The spring is very hot, hence not easy to find spot to find luke warm temperature to soak the feet.

  7. Located at a travel stop with gift stores, 7/11 and a free foot spa.Hot water springs and a geyser across the road if you are travelling to chaing rai.Ladies sellin eggs for 20b that you can cook in the water. It’s there at a travel stop, it’s free and just nice to see the power of nature so worth a stop on your way to or from Chaingrai.

  8. Boil two eggs in one minute in the hot springs. There are coffee shops and souvenirs. There was a live band when I visited. Very unique. A good stop on the way to Chiang Rai. There’s a replica of an Ankor temple.
