We came here few times and i love it and i never noticed no dog sign. Anyway not their fault but just to say. its so Thai that you are farm with wild animal. But no poodle allowed and have to tie them on the entrance under the tree. I think its a bit contradict. Good food and atmosphere. I hope this will give owner a little thought.
The kids really enjoyed this place. It’s a great day activity in a relaxed farm environment where they can see and feed the animals, see all the gardens growing. There is plenty of areas for them to play in as well.We ate at the cafe – the food was tasty, fresh and authentic. But the service was terrible. The staff didn’t talk to one another and we ended up with some duplicate orders. Some of our orders never came but they were still on the bill. They weren’t particularly friendly. Every dish came out one by one, even though they weren’t sharing dishes. It’s a shame they can’t organise the service better because Ginger Farm is otherwise great.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Good place for the kids to explore and the food is legit as well. In many kid friendly places the food can be rubbish, but not here. All the dishes we ordered were amazing. Will definitely be back
At Sunday we wondered what to do with our kids of 3 and 4. This place was recommended by the owner of our guesthouse and it was a great recommendation. This children loved it and scenery was lovely. There was plenty of playground for them, sandbox, swings and enough space to run. There were also some activities to do for which you had to pay separately (we paid 150 bath for painting a hand fan), but we found it worth it!Food was also delicious with special children menu.
An experience of a lifetime. Traveled to Chiang Mai, Ginger Farm where we spent an entire day easily, good detox drinks on the menu, light snacks and very sustainable plan menus. Everyone was friendly, thorough, informative, and clearly cared about nature and all the animals on the farm and well being. Overall, it was a very intimate experience. A must-do!
I’ve been to Chiangmai many times but never been here. It’s kind off rest area where people stop for refreshment but it’s more than that. It’s a real farm which offer activities from learning how to plant rice to many other things you need for in doing the farm. The farm has extensive area you can walk to explore and appreciate many kinds of fruits and vegetables which is used to cooked all the dishes in the menu, which offer quiet different dish especially local and rare traditional dish such as “Som-chun” , a kind of sweet or ” Kang Ranchuan” a mixed of soup and tomyum and other spices a recipe original from late back to the period of King Rama the 5the. The drink list is also extensive both associate with fruits from the farm and Coffee for coffee lover. Just 20 minutes from downtown on the outer ring road to Sarapee district providing no traffic jam. Recommend If you are in the neighborhood. 4-5 pm. Would be the world’s Best Time To Visit because The Sun light won’t be harsh so you can stroll around without being sweat. it is close at 6 pm. Though.
During my stay in Chiang Mai, I visited Ginger Farm (about 30 min drive from the city centre). It is worthwhile visiting this lovely farm. I had lunch (all fresh from the farm) and great, healthy and unique drinks (freshly made to the order). I ordered a noodle dish, and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The environment was very relaxing. The farm is full of various vegetables, spices as well as some farm animals (chicken, cows, and rabbits etc. Also, there was a large bull). Not sure why it is call Ginger Farm, but it is well maintained farm. They also offer various farm related activities, but I didn’t have time to participate.
The Ginger Farm was great for some family fun – highly recommend! There are farm animals that you can feed carrots to and an outdoor playground with a barn sort of setup. They even have a small area with sand toys, and activities like painting flower pots/ tshirts/ umbrellas too. If you are interested in the rice paddy field tour/workshop, you would need to book in advance. The restaurant there serves up fresh and delicious food and coffee, and even has a vegan menu.
Delight for families seeking a fun-filled day surrounded by nature and healthy food. A blend of delicious natural cuisine and engaging activities perfect for children of all ages.Creative Play Areas: The farm features a designated play area with swings, slides, and climbing structures, allowing children to burn off energy while enjoying the outdoors.Be sure to check the farm’s opening hours before your visit, as they may vary depending on the season.
We had a fantastic day with our children at Ginger Farm in Chiang Mai. We got there a bit before our itinerary began so we walked around and there was plenty to do for our children to pass the time. There was a sandbox filled with toys and my kids could have stayed there all day if we let them. Then we walked around and saw some birds such as a peacock. We then let them play in the slide and playground area. The area was nice and clean and the sun was shining. Then our activities began and we were given clothes to change into. They then learned about rice and cleaned some rice. We then went out and gathered some flowers and used them as dye to color the rice. Next, we went to a chicken coop and fed chickens and gathered some eggs. We then were able to get on a water buffalo and take pics. Following that, we went and got muddy and planted rice. Then the kids were able to continue getting muddy in a mud and water slide. We then showered and ate a meal that was very delicious and one in which the kids helped prepare. It was an overall wonderful experience for my children and they had loads of fun. The group leader was very patient and kind to our children and helped acclimate them to all of the activities. I highly recommend this activity for your children in Chiang Mai.
