I only found out about the event once on holiday and entered at lunchtime Saturday to run 3am Sunday! 32C so hot and humid! It is a small event with 400 runners. the later starting half and 10K are bigger. Water each 2K so very well catered given the heat. Route is mainly on dark roads out through Jomtien and back into pattaya. Not the best route but mostly flat and crowds at the start and finish. Good food choice at the end too.I wouldn’t take a detour to do this but if you are a runner in Thailand in July go for it – different feel and vibe to European/western events and very enjoyable as an extra run out with no time pressure. If its hot just walk for a while!
Mostly local amateur and professional athlete takes a part beach is is closed for the competition nothing specail.
