Tard Mork Waterfall is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Sa Moeng road, Thailand
Around 45min of drive in motorbike from Chiang Mai city.Admission Fees : 100 THB for foreign adults (you can go there after 16h30 and it will be free (no guards)).Beautiful waterfalls, around 600 m away from the car park (you can reach it with your city shoes) beware of slippery stones. Do not forget to bring you swimming suit (in the begining of rainy season) you can bath on the natural pool (you don’t have to be afraid of brown water…). Site good for children.
We went to this waterfall to have our lunch after trekking the Mae Sa Valley. Not much tourists go here so we had the park all by ourselves! It was tempting to take a quick dip but the water was too cold in January.
What made this outing so special is that we were the only one there …. So it’s a nice place to get away from the bustling tourist places. We bathed in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall although don’t expect Crystal blue water, but a rather muddy bottom, still worth the dip though.. We rode scooters there, lots of steeple curves but very little traffic.
hiking to the top of the waterfall and enjoying some bath in between within nearly still intact nature. Good foto shootings
We were the only people at the waterfalls that morning and it was just delightful to be able to walk around, listening to the waterfalls and photographing them and the foliage and flowers around. Very peaceful and picturesque spot.
