they treat the monkeys like slaves. if the poor monkey misses one shot to the basket she is immediately punished… You can see their frustration and despair in their eyes. They are kept in 2sqm cages or even smaller chained around their necks. Comes to wonder about human nature – how can we be so cruel just because we can control and exert power over other beings…
Came as a tour package. Small place. The show was short and quite entertaining. Sam the monkey was cute. But I cannot help but noticed the monkeys were chained at the neck and tugged during the show. I imagined how painful it was. The monkeys in dirty cages didn’t look healthy and well treated as well.
Absolutely shocking how these poor monkeys are kept. Totally ridiculous „show“It should be closed and the monkeys should be freed from this insane captivity. We strongly recommend not to go there and support this kind of „attraction“
Sooooo Sad! Don’t support this! The monkeys do circus style tricks and then are sent to their tiny cages. My wife almost cried and wanted to leave. Very inhumane!
Horrible place, monkeys are suffering there. They have chains and the cages are super small. I felt sick after seeing it and knowing that I contributed with my entrance to the keep exploiting monkeys.
This is the Most horrible place we SAW in ThailandThe goverment should Close IT downThey treat the Monkeys Like hellHORRIBLE !!!!!!
Funny monkey ride bike and play basketball,Very inhumane but also very funny……,,,,,,…..,…..,,,,,,,,..,,,,,,,,,,
Do not visit. Very cruel. Monkeys tied up .. report to PETA. This is one of the worst animal cruelty I have every experienced and will be reporting this to Thai authorities
The place needs closing down, its filthy the poor animals are chain up in small gages, the gages were filthy and small. Recommend never to go there, BTW we only visited as the tour guide suggested it.
Our hotel organised a driver to take us to the local attractions. It was a bit of a mystery tour for us. I’m ashamed to have gone to this place. Monkeys in cages on a concrete floor chained by the neck. Looking back we were the only visitors so maybe others read reviews first and boycotted it. A monkey was trained to perform for us…shooting basket balls, riding tricycle, etc. Then coming and shaking our hands. Suggest a trip to monkey Island off krabi and see the Happy wild monkeys instead. You live and learn eh!
