Wat Matchimawat is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Thailand
Nothing special to see here. More of a place for young monks to live and study. Many better temples to visit.
– properly Udon Thani’s first temple- popular to local, if you want to see local life, this is a place for you but sometimes if there’s no religion ceremony held, it can be very quite- not very touristy- just in town
A Thai temple located in UD town popular with the locals. It was quiet when we visited and was ideal for some peaceful contemplation.
Nice temple in large grounds close to the city, not a spectacular as other temples around Thailand but what made this more interesting on the young monks working around the grounds sweeping etc.If you see the monks have a look otherwise it’s just another temple from a tourist point of view.
