  1. If you need something to really spice up your visit to Bangkok, you need to visit this road. Go at night to have scorpion skewers or get a shirt or just drink the night away. A fun night out!

  2. Stayed at hotel here and although road gets noisy at night, I loved the location. The road was fullOf stalls selling food and items like clothing, bags etc. always something going on and great place to people watch. Good nightlife felt really safe here. Great Indian restaurant too which visited twice which worth a try. I loved staying here and all the huddle and bustle of it.

  3. Listen, if you want gilts and glam, stay away. This is not what this street is famous for. Bars and clubs galore, this is the place to party. People flood onto the streets to drink and dance in and out of whatever bar they’ve stumbled into next. Mixed in with A LOT of street food (including the bugs you need to try) and some fake clothing stalls. The whole point is to be swept away in the madness, so embrace it!

  4. If you looking for a place with tourists, active nightlife and a wide range of different music, then Khaosan Road is for you:))

  5. My pals and I found it a touch too loud. However, Ram Buttri Alley is close by and is considerably calmer. It features cool bars. In addition to the lovely hotel we stayed in, it appeared that there were other hip hostels in the area.

  6. If you are a night owl, this is the perfect place for you. It is very lively with many pubs and events happening wherever you go and good restaurants as well!

  7. A change in 12 months, the place has dropped significantly in fun. Was here back in November 23 and had a brilliant night. 12 months later to November 2024 and now it’s just ridiculously loud with bars trying to out do each other by playing music until your ears burst. Far too loud and conflicting sounds. To finally top it off, my friend knocked the table by accident and a single glass broke as it fell off. They made him pay 200 Bhat to replace a single glass!!! And the waitress was quite aggressive about him paying. The place doesnt represent Thailand or the Thai people

  8. Nice popular shopping street in Bangkok, go here for shopping and the nice colorful vibe; it was good to be there, does not take much time to reach and be in there. Recommended!

  9. If your type of partying and drinking and wanna enjoy street foods with music this is the place for you,we stayed just 2 minutes from the street and it’s the best street live I seen in Bangkok

  10. Always a must for first timers in BKAlways insist on BK taxis using meters as v cheapNever accept fixed priceGreat bars and food areasLoud in centre Many back packers and all ages

  11. Our hotel was close by so we visited by day and night. It was interesting to see it by day as it’s so different, not half as lively as during the evening. We didn’t eat there but enjoyed the sights and sounds.

  12. If you really want to see this street come here at night, as during the day is nothing happening. This is a kind of street you can also see in other parts of the capital, as well in Pattaya, Phuket,…and so on.It’s a mixture of everything – bars, go go girls, street food and restaurants, massage parlors, souvenir and other stuff stalls,….

  13. After visiting years ago and enjoying hippie chic bars was disappointed by the noisy rowdy mayhem of the streetWas the disappointment of my Bangkok stay ☹️

  14. Beware ⚠️ of this scammer! If you see this guy on Khao San Road in Bangkok, avoid him. He doesn’t give back change. I handed him a 1000 Baht note, and he kept 500 Baht for himself. He showed me a random 500 Baht note and claimed that was all he received. He gets loud, aggressive, and confrontational. He’s not from Thailand, as he doesn’t understand Thai, and he sells weed and vapes at his stand opposite ‘The Bucket’ Bar.Hopefully, this post can save someone from an unpleasant surprise. Otherwise, enjoy your time in Thailand 👌
