  1. We cycled around the city one afternoon with our 2 children and found this city to be very enjoyable. You can cycle around the entire walled city in a couple of hours, stopping along the way to admire the mightly Mekong and sample some of the Chinese cuisine.

  2. This is a semi-derelict temple and is therefore a bit different from the usual temples we visited. We were almost ‘templed out’ but went anyway. It was worth a stop, particularly if you are in the area, but you don’t need much time there.

  3. Get to this place by walking off the main street and sit/wander at leisure. Could do with a bit more description but I guess the locals enjoy it as a cool respite from the the daily drudgery. Part of the history of this enchanting area.

  4. this is from a local; the ‘temple’ has no large structure onsite; it is more a small city park with piles of old bricks; you can walk thru it but it is more for sidewalk streetside viewing; 10 minutes tops
