Worth a visit. It is an all weather flat track. Plenty of places to put your bet on . The Programme can be worked out. Place a bet under the grandstand and fingers crossed.Plenty of food vendors underneath the grandstand where you can also watch the racing on tv screens
I try to make it to the track every saturday that I am in Korat. Plenty of races to put your money on though one does have to wonder about who calls the shots on who wins, its interesting to see how the horses are warmed up as some are lathered in full sweat and can barely walk before they make it to the gates.The food underneath the grand stands is top notch and well worth getting table with a fan an drinking and eating the day away with quick walks outside to have a look at the horses put your bet on and get back to the cool.
Had many a mens racing trip here , over recent years , great fun , inexpensive day out , plenty to eat and drink and the Horse racing is fun as well
As a long time gambler and not having the option in Thailand, this was a bit of a treat. Loads of people here who cannot afford to be here. A bit depressing. Other than that. It was fun. The stadium is very standard and nothing fancy. Would have been more fun with a few friends. I would probably not go again unless I happen to be in town.
First visit to the race trackIn KoratEntry was cheap and easy and there are lots of smiley people around to help you if you need it.We didn’t bet at the course facilities and not really sure how to if I’m honest – we as a group had numbered bottle tops and paid 100baht to bet in our group – good fun.The day was really good with around 12 races – a cheap fun day ??
