Happened to see a Muang Thong vs arch rivals Buriram match. Wow what an atmosphere. Non stop drumming, chants, songs and the occasional Beer make for some terrific times
Went to a T20 game here and have never paid so much for stadium food and drink anywhere in the world as I have here. $15.50 for a mid strength rum and coke that was barely cool and when I also asked for ice for it you would think I was asking for missiles to throw into the crowd given the way I was treated. To top it off the two staff that served me clearly had English as a second language and couldn’t understand a request for the products they were selling. Tips for MGT: if you’re employing foreign travellers make sure they understand what products they are selling. Happy to not go back to the SCG, not with a family anyway as a night out would be cost prohibitive.
