Our family cannot thank Steven at UME Travel enough for all the efforts he made to make our trip to Japan the most memorable we could imagine. He managed to schedule so many activities on our wish list even though we only had eight days and wanted to visit four cities. Our guides and drivers were simply fantastic, always making sure we were comfortable and well educated. We also appreciated the many tips Steven included with our itinerary about Japanese culture. My husband, son and I took over 500 photos and have compiled many of them into an album we share with family and friends, as well as to renew our own beautiful memories.Again, thank you Steven and UME Travel for your tremendous support of an amazing sojourn to a very special country.
Went to Bangkok & Phuket Thailand. UME created my itinerary and provided most of the transportation for my trip. I went solo and felt very safe with the guides and drivers UME partnered with. I had issues in Phuket with the 1st hotel and I had to move to another hotel. My travel advisor, LAN of UME reported the issues and made sure I received a refund for the nights I did not stay at the 1st hotel. My advisor, LAN was very attentive to my needs throughout the entire trip and always available to assist me. I had a very good experience for my 1st Trip to Thailand and will contact UME to help coordinate my trips in the future!
We are very grateful to have found UME Travel to help us create the best Cambodian travel experience! We’re avid travelers and we don’t always hire a guide but for this trip, and even though we’d done a lot of research ourselves, we were so glad to have had Ivan help us perfect our itinerary and to have matched us with a really amazing local guide, Sothy (a.k.a. Mr. T) and our sweet Driver for our 9 nights,10 day, Cambodian Trip. We started in Siem Reap for 5 nights, then Battambang for 2 nights and the last 2 nights in Phnom Penh, filled with exciting adventures! Mr. T and the driver were our guides for the entire trip and we really enjoyed being with them. Mr. T was very knowledgeable, informative, professional and just so kind! My husband is a photographer and It’s always very important for us that our guide really understands our needs and Mr. T did just that! He made sure that we were always in the best position at the best timing to be able to get that perfect shot. He was so thoughtful and went above and beyond introducing us to new things to try whether it was stopping to see things that weren’t on the itinerary or trying out various types of foods that we’d never tried. He was always making sure that we were totally engaged, knowing that we were pretty adventurous and very curious, and yet giving us space to have time on our own as needed. He really knew how to read and handle each situation with care and made our trip so much fun! Our driver was also very kind and always making sure we were traveling comfortably and welcoming us with cold water and towels that smelled so great with a hint of tiger balm. These little details really made everything so great and so comfortable. By the end of our trip, we were so sad to go our separate ways and missed being with them. Thank you so much for giving us an amazing experience of a lifetime! We very highly recommend UME Travel and will go through them again and again.
