  1. I’m glad Khanom offers this market once a week, it is a highpoint of the week and there is an abundance of foods and clothing to shop. Highly recommended to visit!

  2. I’ve made hundreds of markets in Thailand and the Khanom saturday night market is clearly in my top 3.i recommend !!!

  3. The road is closed for this market with food stalls and cloth stands in the middle of the road. Great opportunity to mingle with the locals and try delicious food speciallities , like sweetwater perch grilled in saltcrust – delicious !

  4. We were the only forgeiners at the night market. The scale is much smaller than the ones in bangkok or chiangmai. But still there are a lot to see and try. We tried many local food and fruits. They were really delicious! It is very worthwhile to go and visit!

  5. Same as street market as other city. There are local food, desserts and fruit. The famous fruit of Nakhon Si Thammarat is Pomelo which is ruby color and Thais called “Tab-tim-siam”. Dessert .. i recommended you try “Dok-Don” which made from flavour and egg.. sweet taste

  6. Lovely time here at this market . A lot of locally made and grown items for sale . A lot of delicious foods and will definitely reccomend .

  7. Very enjoyable stroll with the locals, enjoying all the market had to offer. We ate as much as we could and tried a variety of food with the exception of insects.

  8. We were only in Khanom for market night by luck, and we absolutely loved it. It’s a traditional Thai market- everyone gets dressed up and comes out to meet friends, buy clothes and enjoy a meal out. The atmosphere is terrific. We ate from several stalls and found the stall holders and locals so helpful as they laughingly recommended things for us to try (and the food was delicious). If you’re interested in something fun and not designed for tourists make the effort to come here.

  9. Amazing colors and smells, kind people, felt very safe, tried some local food, everything was fresh and exciting, a beautiful market really, many food options, BBQ, fruit shakes, sweeties etc, second hand and new clothes, really fun outing

  10. It’s worth spending one hour strolling around. It’s not a tourist market, it’s for local, so more enjoyable.
