  1. This is a small temple but seems to be one of the oldest temples. It is located near the Golden Triangle after you walk the stairs up from those souvenir stalls. When you reach the top, you can have a good view of Laos and Myanmar border. It is also interesting to see some old teak trees around. This place is worth visiting if you go to Golden Triangle.

  2. This is a small temple near the Golden Triangle overlook of three countries. Take the stairs up from the parking lot. The grounds are quiet, and there are some interesting sculptures in addition to the views.

  3. nice change of pace from the overcommercialized village; this from a local; the village (sob ruak, aka the golden triangle, aka psalm liam) is radically overcommercialized; this temple complex is the opposite; very quiet, good view, steps provide a little exercise; there is a small part at the top that is off limits to women (go figure);worth a visit; most visitors do not even know this is here

  4. We reached this temple on a taxi tour to the golden triangle and the old temples in Chiang Saen. This temple is situated on a hill on the riverside at the golden triangle. Entrance here was free. The opening hours were stated as 8am-4:30pm. There is a restored Viharn and crumbled Chedis here. There is a Buddha sited on a platform under some trees. There is a road leading up the small hill, to the temple. There is also a staircase guarded by nagas to go up to this site. The view of the golden triangle from here is impressive.
