Laem Ka Beach is absolutely gorgeous. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Rawai and now that the number of boat tours that visit the beach have dropped off it’s a much better place to spend the day.
This is an update from my 2016 review. The tour boats have now all gone so laem ka beach is now a lovely quiet beach. Lovely place to visit, take a picnic and enjoy
This place is a hidden gem. We have been looking for it for the last 3 trips to phuket. We spent every day here for an entire week . It is a welcome option to try instead of yanui and naiharn .
I love this beach, it a private beach and no photo here. people go there to relax and chill out. big parking space. I hope they get rid of rubbish around the beach.
Beach is clean and dear is not so many people on it. One guy served pineapple, bananas and coconut water. Atracjons pig on beatch.
Great beach, litle bit hard to find. No restaurants there, so you need to bring drinks and some food.. rawai is very close
This is a great little beach. The water is safe for all ages and is nice and quiet for Phuket beaches. There is fruit sellers on the beach and its a good spot just to chilland unwind.
Nice beach (not the best) but it has much of shadow for your Thai girlfriend or friends. Worth visiting only if you stay plenty of days in rawai and you have been everywhere else. Peaceful place,great for outdoor barbecue. BE AWARE the access of the beach is now closed (or it was). You turn left in the seven eleven driving towards rawai.
We spend a awesome afternoon at lem ka beach. The beach is difficult to get to as the access road is sometimes open and sometimes closed. Not sure where you can get the info on when the road is open. Bring your own food and drinks because there is nothing on the beach anymore.
Next to the Sea Gypsea Village in Rawai Beach is where Leam Ka Beach laid along the Andaman shoreline. Mingling with locals at Leam Ka Beach is another purpose for going to the beach. Enjoying the view of Lone Island in front, having a dip in warm shallow turquoise water or sunbathing along the shoreline is pretty idealistic. Lone Island is only a swimming distance from Laem Ka Beach. The Sea Gypsies are often seen swimming to the island.
