Biggest problem is parking and so many different foods to choose from!. All very cheap. There is even some foreign food there. I recommend trying the crab fat pad thai, friend shrimp (in a batter the shape of a pancake), and stir friend squid eggs (Get them only when they are hot!). Just to name my favorites. I highly recommend taking a song taw there from any of the main roads. Cheap and quick!. Traffic is insane and will add an extra hour + total (easily) to your travel time coming or going there. Or take a motorbike there and parking only takes a few minutes to find. Get there RIGHT before sun down and you will get the freshest foods without the wait. As far as shopping goes. Its geared more towards Thai students I would say. You can find a few decent T shirt shops, vape shops, and other various things. They have Thai music playing (very very loudly so remember that if you have sensitive ears or small children).
Have been there on a Weekend tripp with my girlfriend. Bangsaen is a lovely place and lots of cars and People on Weekends from Bangkok. Go there again soon but during the week
It’s a very nice walk during the day or in the evening. The pavement is quite clean finished with marble tiles. At night it is well lighted the place comes alive with all types of food smells and noises as the walkway is lined with food stalls selling all types of food and drink especially fish. The beach is just 20 meters from this walk and the walk stretches on for 1.5 miles approx.
Beautiful brqchfrony markets that scratch for a mile great food stalls, perfect for the family and away from the tourist crowd.
This place is very nice along the water in the daytime. People fishing, view towards Khao Sam Muk hill. There are tables to sit end enjoy the view of the sea. On this visit to Bang Saen I was just here during the day, but when the market is here in the evings it isa a lively place with lots of people and food. Bang Saen has so much great sea food, and this is the place to get it.
Nothing to do but eat or drink, so we didn’t stay as long as planned. The beach was littered with trash. Definitely not a place for tourist.
Weekend night market by the sea. Great range of local and international foods, tables next to the sea for eating, live music and a fun clothing market with some good bargains …. what’s not to like!
Located by the seaside, nice weekend market with yummy foods to try, inexpensive, and plenty of seating too, so you can choose between takeaway and dine in
