  1. On our way from Chiang Mai to Pai we stopped at this place. First you need to buy tickets to enter the National park (Thb100) plus a parking ticket (Thb 20). From the parking place its about a ten minute walk before you arrive at the very beautiful waterfall. Several streams are coming down. Its allowed to swim and feel the experience of having a real tough shower. There is even a tiny ‘beach’. Absolutely worth to stop here for some time when you are traveling between Pai and Chiang Mai.

  2. a nice place to visit for a few hours.there were very few people when we visited.A 10/15 min walk to the waterfall.there are very clean, modern toilets here.

  3. Love this place. A very short walk from the parking area. 100 baht for adults and 50 baht for kids. Took me some time to go into the water. Water is so cold.

  4. We visited this waterfall on a three day Pai and Mae Hong Son tour booked with a company called Travel Hub. This waterfall was a very pleasant surprise and one of the better ones we visited while in SE Asia. Not only is it great for photos but also a nice spot for a quick swim and shower under the falls.

  5. We stayed at the camp ground across the road from the falls trail for two nights with a group of sixty+ friends. I saw a large flock of mostly bulbuls (birds) in the trees along the stream and got a recording of what I believe to be a Blythe’s frogmouth (bird) just after 7:00 in the evening. We also traveled along the nature trail to a cave above the base of the falls. To access it go to the right of the stream (don’t cross bridge on road) opposite the ticket booth. You can also go up a trail slightly below the falls but it’s harder to cross the stream and find the path. Along the nature trail we also saw/ heard several birds including a nuthatch or creeper and what I believe to be a Gray Treepie. Both the frogmouth and treepie are rare bird sightings. By the way it’s pronounced Mok Fa (leave out the ‘R’)

  6. Took a short hike to waterfall with our children. It was a very nice experience. Entrance fee was 100 baht for adults (I believe, my wife paid). Our children were free. Plenty of parking available, as well as a camping ground and other accommodation to stay overnight.
