Clean Crystal Clear water Sandy beaches !! the same beach who lost everything in 2004 Tsunami !! yes i am right.
We visited this place during the mid-august (rainy season). Since this is an off season and chances of rain and strong waves is common, but we were lucky to get a decent weather here and went to do snorkeling.Snorkeling opens up a new world and the feeling is so awesome that it can’t be described in words. Fish swimming along and sea urchins laying low gives one of a kind experience. It’s really a fun activity to do, it’s a white sand beach and great place to relax on the beach.
The way to the beach from Tonsai town is quite exhausting, but the beach is really nice. It is shorter, but seems to me wider than Long Beach. The beach wasn’t crowded, only a few boats.
This is a very nice beach in Phi Phi Island, not the best to swim at low tide, because you have to go deep into the sea. There is shallow water. Great to see the sunrise. There is also a bar by the beach were you can grab a coconut, water or beer. It’s nice to go at least once if you go to Phi Phi Island.
…really. DO NOT GO. Leave it as it is. Many tourists can only destroy the habitat. The beach suffers on tides. When you have high tide, the water is rough and quite dirt. But when you enjoy the low tide.. the water…DON’T GO
We were staying on long beach and instead of taking the overpriced boat, we walked through a well tarmac road from the ” beach resort” up. It’s only a 10 15 mins walk and you’ll discover this hidden gem. Go early, before 10.30 and you’ll likely have the beach for yourself. Towards 11 until 12.30 the odd boat will stop with a few fellow travellers but never more than 6 10 people, they usually go away before 1. Absolutely worth it!!!
the beach is beautiful indeed, however given it is a hidden beach with some cats and monkeys, the sand was contaminated with hookworms!!! we did not see them when we were there, but a few weeks later we got cutaneous larva migrans skin diseases which is the definitely the worst souvenir from Thailand…we are sure that we got infected on this beach, because one of our friend did not come to with us on that day, and she has no worms under her skin, but for the rest of us…we are currently experiencing a real nightmare.make sure you wear beach shoes and do not lay down in the sand! but rather just make yourself a favour and skip this beach!
Quiet side of the island, could be considered secluded? Anyways, upon arrival, nicked a small cut on my heels as its abit rocky at the beach. Just be careful on your steps here.
It took us maybe two hours hike from phi phi pier to get to this beach but it was worth it. It is further so not many tourists go there. It is possible to reach it by boat as well. If you will hike prepare for about an hour walk. The beach itself is beautiful, when we got there there was no people. Water is so clear that a bit further in the sea you can see corals and littles fishes. Beautiful place. Would recommend to hike there from the morning and leave before it gets dark.
It’s a beach bit far from the tonsai pier. If you reach long beach it’s a 20 mins up and down walk to this beach. Noticed a lot of tourists enjoying their dip on this lovely beach.
