This is one of the biggest duty free airport malls I have seen with lots of shops selling brand name items. Even if you are not buying anything it’s interesting to kill time by window shopping.
Cost of cigrettes good around £22 for 200 everything else a rip off, i thougt the whole idea of duty free was the cost, so was shocked to find the price of Whisky one the UK high street which has one of the highest duty rate in the world cheaper than in King Power, other issue why do they need your passport and boarding pass in order to buy soap and sweet, best to buy you booze in you own country duty free shop
This is the moment when I cannot go back to roam around so try to grab whatever is required without thinking twice. With the shopping list in hand, I was most of the time assisted by the staff to complete. Many a time, I fell into the same trap willingly as solicited. If I wanted to buy 100 ml bottle I was convinced to buy 200 ml as the latter was more cost friendly. If I wanted one bottle, two bottles pack was more cost friendly. Finally, I ended up with more money spent.
Love Bangkok Airport, all the shops you could ask for, bargains to be found if you look around, staff in duty free shops are always very polite & Helpful unlike other Airport duty free shops ??thank you for a pleasant & Relaxing wait from your lovely country

I bought a statuette of the Buddha for 21.00 (gulp) they were a tenth the price on the street. But you are locked in an airport, so whatcha’ gonna due? Very polite staff. Quality articles but the price is pretty darn high.
There are so many King Power stores all over Bangkok and at the airports. Although they offer attractive merchandise and duty free products, this store was mostly a duplicate of all the others in this chain.
The price you pay in the duty free shop is a lot more expensive than a 7/11. So make sure you stock up before you go to the airport.
The airport is not overwhelming. You can find good exchange rate shops there, portable wifi’s, thai fast foods and convenience stores are located inside. Don’t forget to try the efficient airport rail link, it is cheaper to use if you travel in small numbers with less luggage, it will connect you to the Bangkok City proper. Many signages are translated in english so it is easy to navigate around. Bring cash with you but also many establishments accepts major credit cards.
Friendly, efficient & helpful staff. Good shopping, good food. Can be chaotic at times due to the large amounts of people passing through Bangkok but staff handle it well and procedures are efficient.
